"IT'S ALMOST NIGHT TIME." i pointed out the obvious, staring at the sky. paimon hummed, patting her belly as i rolled my eyes, fully knowing what she's about to say.
"yes! and paimon's hungry already."
yep, knew it. both me and aether give the floating fairy a blank stare, probably fed up with her black hole stomach. this book 70% are probably only talked about food. paimon's fault.
"are you hungry, [y/n]?" aether turned to me. "not really, although the journey from wangshuu inn took a toll on me, i'm not really tired." i said but aether raised his eyebrows suspiciously.
"what?"
"...nothing. paimon, let's go get a snack." aether turned away from me after his little stare and dragged paimon away. i only look at his back, blinking slowly.
"yayy!" paimon cheers, making a bee line ahead.
"i'm not tired, really."
"who am i convincing? aether?....or me?"
"wait up!" i yelled, skipping after them and slipped my arm around aether's arm and grin. "not hungry but treat me juice, husband?"
aether's eyes twitch, only stayed looking ahead. he's trying to fight the blood that goes up to his face. i laugh, pinching his cheek.

MY MOUTH WATERS as i can smelled a nice smell as we walked. i can tell the smell are coming from xiangling's restaurant because that's the nearest restaurant with open stall.
"smell so nice...i swear i wasn't hungry just now." i gulped, eyes sparkling as i imagined how the foods gonna be. paimon nodded, agreeing with me as she also stared ahead with sparkling eyes and mouth drooling.
aether ignored our reaction as we continue walking there. when we arrived, we take a seat at the table and waited for someone to come.
seconds later, which is unsurprisingly that the cute girl with god as her companion came, smiling happily.
"hi, welcome to chef mao restaurant, what do you want to order?" xiangling asked, until she realizes with whom she was talking to. "oh, traveler! paimon! i see that you guys are back here!" her smiles widened.
"hi xiangling!" aether and paimon greet her. "we came because we missed you, and your cooking, mostly." paimon stuck out her tongue. xiangling giggle, waving paimon's joke off.
