Hiding isn't always a bad thing, it just gives you time to attack...

By the time the two had broke the news to Slender and the others, everyone had began to pack up what they needed.
"If Zalgo had possesed the boy, he most likely knows where the Mansion is located. I suppose we have no choice but to leave and find my brothers."
Sam gave Slender a curious look. "Now that you mension it, where'd Splendor go?"
Slender shrugged. "Who knows. Perhaps he teleported back to his old hovel."
"So how are we going to leave? Won't Zalgo catch up fast by the time we leave?"
Toby poped up from behind Slender and replied, "T-that's why he's going to teleport us, t-ten people at a-a time."
.
By the time Slender had teleported most of the killers to his brother's 'house' he had fallen with exhaustion.
The cheery, tall creature jumped around happily.
Sally laughed at him.
"...So, he finally made a move?" Splendor said, sounding more like a statement than a question.
Jeff nodded. "The bastard probably set this all up in the first place, getting the boy to look for our hide out so as to make it look unsuspicious."
Sam gasped dramatically. "Wow, you actually sounded pretty clever there!"
Jeff flipped Sam off and went to find somewhere quiet to sit.
Slender had teleported most of the killers as far away as Zalgo as possible, he may not know where they went now, but Sam was sure he'd find out sooner or later.
As for the rest of the killers, they had split out to hide until orders came in.
"Saaamm..." Rake pulled at Sam's finger like a child would to get a parent's attension.
"What is it?"
Both Splendor and Sam looked down at Rake.
Splendor let out an excited 'ooh' at Rake and tried to pet it.
"Isn't the thing cute? I'm sure it used to be my brother's pet!"
Sam rolled her eyes while Rake bit one of Splendor's fingers.
"What did you want?" Sam questioned again.
"Rake...tired..."
Sam agreed with Rake. It had been a restless night, but she knew she couldn't sleep. Not in such a vunerable way.
"Go find a good spot, I'll come and find you in a minute!"
Rake nodded and crawled away.
"I need to know something," Sam turned her attension back to Splendor who had been trying to make his bitten finger better. "Is Zalgo some kind of demon spirit?"
"He is somewhat close to that, yes. Zalgo is the king of the underworld, you see. He's half and half."
"Half and half?" Sam raised a brow at Splendor and crossed her arms.
"Half demon, half human of course!"
"Well shit!"
"What did I tell you about swearing in front of children?" Splendor said sternly, although Sam couldn't take him seriously.
"And what did I tell you about calling me a child!?" Sally asked from behind Splendor.
He jumped and backed away from the little girl. "Sorry!"
"That's what I thought, you old crib!"
Sam tried to hold in a laugh at how Sally insulted him. It was humourous to see a child act so mature.
"Sam," Sally's gaze moved over to her. "I wanna sleep with you tonight. Smile Dog has flees at the moment and BEN snores."
"Who're they?"
Sally pointed at the killers near the stairs. Jeff was talking to the little blonde guy Sam had seen once back at the mansion. A husky sat beside Jeff's feet, his hind leg itching his ear with sharp, uncut nails. It seemed to have a human like smile. Creepy and cool!
Sam sighed. "Whatever, just as long as you don't kill your other roommate."
"Ooh, there's another one? Aren't you popular!" Sally teased.
By the time the two had found where Rake was crouched in a big corner in the hall, everyone had found a place to sleep.
Sam was surprised Rake had even found a spot to sleep considering it was packed in the small, run down house of Splendor's.
Sally frowned when she saw the sight of Rake, and it returned the favour. It's lips curled back, it's face sour.
"Girl...not good...faceless man's favourite..."
"Shut up!" Sally flipped her hair and grabbed a hold of Sam's hand. "Let's find another place to sleep, I don't like it." She nodded her head towards Rake in distaste.
Rake growled in reply.
"Sorry Sally, but this is the only decent place we can sleep. You both can sleep on either side of me, but I swear, if you try to kill eachother and me in the process, I will come back and posess you!"
Sally gave her signature creepy grin. "I'll try not to, no promises!"
"Rake...try..." Rake nodded.
.
It took Sam forever to get to sleep as the two killers slept on either side of her, all huddled together for warmth.
Sally had already fallen asleep, her head rested on Sam's ribs. She could hear her slow breathing as she slept almost soundly.
Rake on the other hand was more tense.
Obviously he didn't get along with Sally, but she and it both knew she wasn't a danger, not right now anyway.
She could feel Rake watching Sally with it's sunken-in eyes. Every now and again she could feel it shrug and grunt uncomfortably.
Maybe it was because she knew Rake didn't sleep was why she couldn't herself.
Rake waited a little while longer before it began talking to Sam.
"Sam needs to...train...weak to Zalgo...."
Sam nodded. She knew she was pretty weak. The only reason she had survived up until now was because of her rebelious side that she couldn't control.
"Yeah, I know. I'll train, but I'm not going all 'I'm going to defeat Zalgo and win this war', fight him, get hammered almost to death, get back to my feet and be all 'I've had enough of this!' and suddenly defeat the old bastard."
"Er..." Rake sounded confused but didn't say more.
Sam sighed. "Yeah, you don't understand until you watch shonen anime..."
As time passed, Sam began to get tired.
By the time she had closed her eyes it felt like only five minutes had passed before she was woken up again.
