The morning sun hits my face like a wake-up call, and its only then I realize that I fell asleep at my kitchen table.

"Crap, he'll be here any minute."

I, luckily, have enough time to take a quick shower, use a drying spell on my hair, and pack my wicker basket. I'm bringing some healing, flying, and fire spells just in case. There's also some aged cheese, bread, and fruit that I neatly pile into the basket.

The knock at my door startles me, and I jump. Rushing to open the door, I'm met with Jungkook leaning on my doorframe.

"Ready?" He asks, and I nod, going back inside momentarily to grab my broom and basket. "The white one is yours."

"Huh?" I ask, before seeing what he was referring to. A white horse is in my front yard, munching the blooms off my pansies I have planted. Jungkook mounts his black steed, it snorting underneath him.

"Oh uh, I actually have my broom." I motion to it in my hand. "Plus, its faster and doesn't... eat."

The white horse shakes its head at me, as if it can understand what I'm saying. It soon goes back to eating the grass beside my plants.

"Are you sure?" He asks, reeling the reins in on his steed. "What if the broom doesn't fly?"

"Oh, it'll fly." I laugh. "I may not can make a love potion, but I can make a flying one. See?"

Letting the broom drop, it hovers just above the ground. I take my seat on the wooden dowel, hanging my basket out on the end of it. Flashing me a look I can't quite place, Jungkook nods.

"Suit yourself. Let's be off then."

Leaving the horse in my front yard, we take off in the South direction. I hover beside Jungkook, it being no problem keeping up with his horse as it trots along.

"So, where exactly are we going?" I ask, moving high enough so we're eye level. "Where's this magic sap supposed to be?"

"I did some digging after you left last night," He starts, and I raise my eyebrow. "A book in the library said it was probably at the southern border. Some townsfolk say that they tend to avoid the area because the fog is so dense. Seems like a good place to start, anyways."

I nod, finally having time to notice what he's wearing. A black overcoat, his classic sword on his hip, and rugged jeans with them tucked into the top of his boots. His hair looks messier today, in a sexy way.

Bunned in the back with the front loose strands framing his brow. Wow.

The ride to the southern border is boring, just as I thought it would be. Besides the steady rushing of a stream nearby and the squirrels ruffling the leaves, there's nothing else. Me and Jungkook have once again fallen into a silence. I seem to be doing that with him a lot. Maybe he just doesn't like talking? Or is shy, maybe?

When his horse suddenly comes to a forced stop, I speak up.

"What's the matter? Why'd we stop?"

"This isn't right." He shakes his head, ruffling the loose hair strands. His map is in front of him, and I watch how he chews his bottom lip in a thinking manner. "We should have already hit the southern border."

"Huh?" I fly in front of him as he dismounts his horse which has started grunting and pawing at the ground. "Well, something's up or he wouldn't be freaking out. Lemme see."

I hop from my broom, walking over and leaning into his shoulder so I could see the map. "Why isn't it foggy? Aren't we supposed to be in a fog area?"
