I sit around an extravagant dining table, sipping some red wine.
Jimin doesn't have near as many people patrolling the castle grounds like Jungkook does, and I wonder if its because we're on the literal side of a volcano.
One servant poured us the wine and left us a while back. As the boys continue their catching up, I look around the dining room.
Surprisingly, its not too different from our Inn suite. Except for the fact that there's a wall of lava pouring down across from me, radiating heat. Sweat slowly drips down the side of my face, and I wipe it quickly before either of them notices.
Its so hot in here that I'm positive my thighs will leave an impression in this oak chair, yet the Fire Prince isn't breaking a sweat at all despite his multiple layers of clothes. He must be used to it, but even still, its so freaking hot in here.
Jungkook has begun to show signs of his struggling too, because his hair is sticking to his forehead and there's a glimmer of sweat on his skin. I'm not complaining, though. It makes him look even more handsome.
I've managed to tune out their conversation until the topic is changed.
"So," Jimin takes a sip of his wine, licking the remnants off his bottom lip. "Why the visit with a witch?"
I glance over at him, a twinkle in his eye that I can't place.
"We're making a love potion." Jungkook doesn't hesitate. "We need an ingredient from you and everyone else."
Jimin blinks at the both of us, trying to piece together our situation.
"Potion you say?" He thinks, his eyes suddenly lighting up following a mischievous grin directed to the both of us. "Oh! I see. You two are-"
"No!" Both me and Jungkook shout at the same time, startling the both of us. We definitely don't need him getting the wrong idea about us. Jimin is full of mischief, and there's no telling what he would do.
"I just want to make it out of curiosity." I hastily answer. "I've been trying for years to make the potion, never getting it right. Just once, I want to make it."
He leans forward, putting his chin in the palm of his hand. "Interesting reasoning, but I'm going to need something in return. Can you make me a spell?"
"I guess? What kind of spell?" I ask, my interest being piqued.
"You two talk about that, and I'll go be getting some fresh air." Jungkook stands, fanning his face with his hand. He exits the room, probably heading back to the balcony.
His absence makes me somewhat uncomfortable, leaving me here with the Fire Prince. Jimin scoots his chair closer to mine when Jungkook gets out of earshot, leaning in to whisper.
"Tell me. That potion isn't for you to use on him, is it?" He grins like the Cheshire cat, feeling like he hit the nail on the head with me and Jungkook's relationship.
"No." I shake my head, the proximity making the heat in the room worse. "I can promise you that."
"Are you sure?" His grin turns into that of a smirk. "You're as red as the magma."
"Its not like that." I firmly state, pushing down the butterflies as my brain becomes occupied with a question I've been dying to ask.
Its my turn to lean into him now, taking him by surprise. He leans back, giving us some distance.
"Why aren't you sweating?" I finally ask, feeling a bead of sweat collect on my forehead. I analyze his skin, not seeing a single indicator of him being hot.
