"My time is almost over." The giant Namekian coughed as he was surrounded by all of his people who were all either crying or nearly there. Only a few Namekians held strong through what looked like a heartbreaking moment. "You." He pointed at Callion. "Come here for a second, I have one last gift I want to give."
The Saiyan walked over to the old and dying Namekian and stood directly in front of him and waited for the Namekian's next move.
"Please, come closer." He said politely.
Knowingly, Callion moved closer until the giant's hand was placed on top of his head. After a few seconds and some continuous mm's the Namekian finally spoke. "This is a gift for helping my people on Namek and protecting me while Frieza was trying to come after me. Also, I sense a great deal of potential inside of you, let me help you."
Gohan's eyes nearly popped out of his head as he felt Callion's power increase to an astonishing level and it kept rising. Even Vegeta was surprised by how much Callion's power had increased, even above his own and it frustrated him to see how he'd once again been placed in second. The other Namekians also stared at Callion in shock as they could feel the pure power being emitted by Callion.
"Thank you, Grand Elder Guru." Callion said, then bowed in respect. As he looked at the faces of the people around him, one face stood out the most.
Hazel.
For some reason, now that he knew who she was, he was beginning to become more cautious of her and he didn't know why.
Things just didn't feel right now that he knew she was some sort of angel who had managed to change herself into a human woman with cat ears who's race couldn't even be named.
So he did the only thing he could do in order to keep himself from showing his fear and knowledge of everything that was about to happen.
Callion remembered watching dragon ball, dragon ball z, GT, and Super. He remembered the order of which everything had happened and he knew that he needed to train for what the next four years would lead to. The only problem was Hazel and how she played a part in things.
The Saiyan used his eyes to scan for his best friend and he eventually found him, but he didn't get any weird vibes from the Namekian. He knew of Oragan's past, but he didn't know of Hazel's nor did he know why she followed him into this world and it was beginning to freak him out more than he liked.
So he looked up into the sky and shot off into the air, then zoomed off into an unknown direction.
"Why was he looking at us like that?" Oragan questioned as he looked at Hazel with a confused look on his face.
"I don't know, but something seems to be bothering him." Hazel said while looking at the direction Callion flew off into.
Callion found a nice ocean that ran for miles and he just stared at it for a minute. He didn't realize how thirsty he'd become, and he also didn't realize how different this version of Earth was from his past life's version of Earth.
Regardless, he slowly flew downwards towards the water and looked as multiple fish swam past him.
"If I remember correctly, Bulma invited everyone to stay with her temporarily until the dragon balls were ready and they wished for a few things before waiting again to make more wishes." Callion said while looking down at the fish beneath his feet. The water was so clear that he could see all the fish as clear as day, which wasn't something he remembered being able to do in his past life.
Something clicked in his mind while he looked down at the fish beneath him. "Bulma's dad was working on a ship!"
He looked up to the left and right trying to pinpoint everyone's location and they were all still together, but moving. Meaning Bulma's dad managed to pick them up alright and was now transporting them to his home.
Then something else clicked. Why did he want to leave? What was there on Salmon's ship that was so great and that he really wanted to return too?
He could start a family here.
Clearly he had a third chance in life, while also retaining his knowledge of his old life which meant the skies were the limit and his potential was now higher than ever before.
"First, I'll need to find a good home and a job which shouldn't be too hard. I sense an abundance of people that way, which is far enough from the rest of the Z warriors. Then I'll save money and train to become stronger." He said and started flying towards his new potential home with a smile on his face, then the thought of Hazel caused him to stop smiling but he pushed forward and chose not to look back.
Once he reached the city, he touched down in a nearby forest beside the forest and looked down at his clothes, but he chose to ignore how incredibly different he looked than everyone else. Especially the tail he had sticking out his back end, so he tucked it around his waist to make it look like a belt.
He walked through the city until he'd seen a sign that read 'welcome to East City' and he instantly was thankful that he wasn't in South City due to what happened to it during the android saga.
Regardless, people kept giving Callion weird looks and he expected them at the end of the day, but he still felt isolated. Eventually, after a few hours of searching, he'd managed to find a small plumbing business that's hiring and decided to take the job as quickly as possible.
Fortunately, the business was so small that it was considered an under the table job and Callion thanked Kami for how lucky he was getting.
He'd managed to work his first shift the same day he applied and made a decent amount of money, but they took most of it because he was still training. Yet, he was fortunate enough to get himself a nice little meal to temporarily clench his hunger and help him survive another day.
Unfortunately, nightfall quickly began to take over and Callion realized that he didn't have anywhere to stay, so he found a decent alley and looked up into the sky. He noticed how clearly he could see the stars, unlike in his past life where city pollution made it hard to see the stars at night and it only seemed to hammer in the fact that he was no longer Kazuto and he was now Callion.
Then he noticed how he no longer felt an itch to fight anyone. Almost like his instincts had changed and became more... human like.
Now he wanted to stay safe more than anything, but he knew that staying safe wasn't going to be possible in this world due to enemies constantly wanting to destroy Goku and the Earth.
He could only try to get stronger from this point.
Callion knew of the fastest ways of getting stronger which were the Hyperbolic time Chamber and constantly trying to get Zenkai boosts and was seriously considering using them, but he didn't know how any of them really worked.
Plus he needed to keep his knowledge a secret and honestly had no idea where to find Korin's tower or the lookout.
So he got up and flew off into the sky, until he once again found a nice body of water, only this time he flew directly into the water, stopped, then started punching around. Training.
His movements were slower in the water and the water pressure was pressing up tightly against his body, while he also held his breath.
This type of training was different from any kind of training, but he found it better than standing on solid ground and working on his technique.
Knowing what was to come, he vowed to be ready and getting a head start would surely help.
