Chapter 14: A future Saiyan?

Callion had expected to see Garlic Jr reappear, but it never happened to his surprise, yet he knew that the little mini arc was simply filler.

It seemed like no matter what happened, Callion couldn't get a feel of the world around him. Even though many of the Z-warriors were sad about the death of Yamcha during the Salmon invasion, there was nothing they could do about it. The next wishes they used were exactly like how they were in the anime.

Tien was revived.

Chiaotzu was revived after.

Then finally the last wish caused the Namekians to go to New Namek where their dragon balls soon followed.

Knowing his past, it felt weird how everyone interacted with him as if they were real people in a real world and it made him feel weird whenever he spoke to them. At the same time though, he's had real interactions with everyone he had met so far. Pike, Salmon, Hazel, and his best friend... Oragan. Even Kini had a crush on him during a time, but they weren't a part of the original cast of characters in the show.

Even though Gohan's interaction with him seemed genuine and real, he couldn't help but be cautious.

On Earth, everything went by as if there was peace, but Callion continued to train everyday and he worked hard even while he was at work. His work had brought the company to new heights and they even offered him higher positions, but Callion couldn't afford to do that. Instead, he asked for good pay and a bendable work schedule in case of emergencies.

They allowed it.

Days went by, even months, until one day Callion had felt a massive energy not to far away from the planet and he had gotten a call from Krillin a few minutes after.

"Did you feel that?"

"Yeah, I think it's Frieza again." Callion said, acting like he didn't know exactly what was going to happen.

Still, he couldn't help but feel excited about the incoming threat.

"Do you really think it's Frieza? I mean, I thought that Goku defeated him so how could he still be alive?"

"Apparently Goku didn't finish the job." Callion said as he finally fixed someone's plumbing. "I hope you've been training because things can get crazy if we aren't careful."

"I've been training a little, but aren't you a super Saiyan now? It should be easy for you to defeat him now."

Callion chuckled. "Maybe, but even still we must be careful. Goku was a super Saiyan and he wasn't able to kill Frieza so who knows what'll happen when I fight him." The teen was able to hear Krillin gulp from the other end of the line. "Regardless, we will have to be on guard."

"Well I'm meeting Gohan in a bit. Come along." Krillin said, then hung up the phone immediately after.

Callion wiped his hands off, tested the sink, then quickly shot off into the sky.

Soon after, Callion landed with everyone already on the ground. He was the last to arrive.

"Glad you're here, Callion." Tien said with a smile on his face.

Vegeta scoffed and turned away in anger.

Suddenly, Frieza's ship appeared to have breached the Earth and Frieza's pure power shocked everyone.

Everyone, except Callion.

The Saiyan quickly flew after the ship and once Frieza and his Father, King Cold, got out of the ship, he listened to Frieza's little sob story.

Suddenly, he watched Trunks take out a few of Frieza's soldiers. Then he quickly disposed of the rest of Frieza's soldiers and revealed that he was, too, a super Saiyan.
