We flew for about two hours and I was getting bored. I didn't just wanna fly for a long time and not do anything.

"Ladon, how much longer until we reach Asia." I asked.

"About three more hours, kid. Why? Are you bored of the world yet?" His deep voice laughed at his own joke that wasn't funny to the rest of us.

"Yeah I am sure bored of just the ocean. Three Hours is a long time. How long does it take to get from London to Asia?" I asked again.

"It takes about nine hours, but when I first met you yesterday, you had been flying for maybe four hours, so we don't have as much time as you would normally." He answered. Ugh, this was gonna be more boring than I thought. I was already bored and we really had only begun our adventure.

As we flew for what seemed like forever, I wondered how my parents were doing? Were they ok? Did they miss me? Did they notice I was missing? I wondered if they even cared that I was gone. I sure missed them a little.

About 2 hours went by and we stopped at a cliff to rest. My wings had gotten tired again and I couldn't continue. Everyone, except Ladon, felt the same way and needed rest also. We rested for sometime just to get our wings ready for flying again.

"Have any of you ever met a human before?" Ladon said out of the blue.

"No, none of us have Ladon." Mira replied.

"Yeah, Glaze was too scared to even try." I looked at him and rolled my eyes. If he was going to be mean to me then I felt no shame doing the same.

"Wow. At least I didn't put all my friends in danger." Glaze glared at me.

"Well, you didn't have to come. You could have just left your friends to go alone. It would be better without you anyway. We wouldn't have someone constantly terrified from the sound of a falling feather." I rolled my eyes again as a golden brown feather began to fall. I wasn't sure where it came from, but it helped me prove my point.

"Did you say golden brown feather?" Ladon asked suspiciously.

"Yeah this one here." I showed him the feather. "Why?" But without answering my question he began to worry.

"We need to start moving now." He paused and looked around. "It may no longer be safe here at this cliff." He began to fly above the cliff and we all followed. I flew right beside him while the others followed behind.

"So what was the problem?" I asked.

He gave a sigh. "Griffins, kid." He replied. A Griffin? Griffin's were the Dragons worst enemy. They were worse than humans, and were selfish beasts, worse than a Storm Dragon, and Storm Dragons were pretty bad.

"A Griffin? What are you saying?" Were they following us?

"I am not sure exactly, but wherever a Griffin is, that's trouble." Ladon replied. Now I was scared, just like Glaze would be if he knew about this.

"Let's not tell Glaze about this. He will just be a baby about it like he is with everything." I said. I was still mad at him for everything he said to me.

"Hey kid, that ain't nice. He is still your friend, you know. And he still cares about you." Ladon replied.

"Well with the things he said to me, it doesn't really feel like he is my friend anymore. Friends try to make the other one feel better and forgive them, but Glaze hasn't done that. He is always mad at me for some reason and I don't know why. I have apologized many times and he still doesn't forgive me. I don't understand anymore." I told him. I was so angry and sad at the same time.

"Hmm, maybe try talking with him and be calm about it." Ladon suggested.

"Ladon, I have already tried to talk with him calmly but he won't forgive me. I don't think there is much more to be done. And I don't want to be friends with him if he won't apologize." I was so mad that I no longer wanted to talk about it. Everytime it was brought up, or everytime we talked about it I got more angry every second.

"Well kid, sometimes you have to give someone a second chance if you care about them. Maybe think about that before your friendship is ruined. Like I said, just think about it." Ladon said. Then we stopped talking about it.

Maybe Ladon was right. Glaze was and always would be one of my best friends. I couldn't just give up on him. What he said was right even though the way he said it was harsh. I understood where he was coming from.
