I was in my office looking at a map I had of the world, it's been about a week at sea and I was trying to calculate where we were at sea and how long it would take to get to London. while also making sure we didn't cross through any major trading routes. I then turned my attention to the storm glass sitting next to my map the liquid was starting to get cloudy so sometime soon it will be cloudy with a chance of rain. after this observation, I started to write it down. my silence was interrupted by someone entering my office
"CAPTAIN THERE IS A SHIP APPROACHING OF THE STARBOARD BOW" Anthony yelled I grabbed my sword headed outside. When I did some of the crew were already in their battle positions I approached Jackson who handed me a telescope. when my vision focused on the ship it was a British navy ship
"British navy" I lowered the telescope from my eye "you guys know what to do" I smirked my men cheered as we loved stealing from the British navy. I was still looking at the ship as we closed in on it until I felt a light tap on my shoulder I turned around to see a dressed Elizabeth.
"where do you want me, captain," she smiled
"are you sure you are ready to fight," I asked she hesitated to answer She took a deep breath and nodded? I turned my focus back to the ship, as we got closer I noticed that this ship was quite smaller than mine.
"Jackson, Anthony, Carter, Churchill, and Elizabeth you will be with me, this ship is one of the smaller ones so we don't need as many men on this plunder," I said to them
"Captain, are you sure having-" Anthony glares at Elizabeth " her on this plunder would be a good idea"
"I am positive and the fact that you question my judgment" I got in Anthony's face "has me questioning your role has my co-captain" I glared at Anthony he's such a dick and I have been looking for a reason to demote him, I get that we are pirates but we are also a family and we treat each other as such. once we had killed everyone on board grey put a board between the two ships so men could walk across and take things they wanted as I was walking below deck I saw Elizabeth come out of a room carrying a stack of books. I slowly grabbed my sword as we both stared at the cloth as it started to thrash around whatever was under it was trying to find an exit.
