I held a torch as I led savage, grey, graham, and myself through the winding tunnels that ran under the city of London. the tunnels were paved with large stones of various different sizes they had certain markings on the wall that told you where you were going but only if you knew how to read them. water dripped from the ceiling onto the floor creating puddles and lines of water down the walls.

"captain ye didn't tell us you were a good dancer" grey chuckled

"There are some things I wish to keep secret" he responded

"why is that" I joined in

"because a dancing pirate isn't the scariest thing on the planet," he said ducking blow a beam as we kept walking we continued to walk for what felt like 10 minutes I searched the walls for markers that we were going in the right direction and thank the gods we were. it wasn't until we came up to a fork in the path that I got stumped but I could feel a slight breeze coming from my left

"Elizabeth" I heard someone say but I held up my hand indicating for them to be quiet, it wasn't until I heard voices that weren't ours they were echoed voices but I could tell they were getting closer to us because of how loud they were getting. I felt my body freeze a little as I tried to think but then a thought crossed my mind

"Okay listen to me, the exit should be down this left path take it and keep going straight you should hit some stairs and be out of here"

"wait why are you saying it as that" grey asked

"it sounds like-"

"I'm going to take the right path to throw them off," I told them they looked at me as if I grew a horn

"absolutely not Elizabeth," savage said to me "you are not going by yourself"

"It is possibly the only way to get you guys out of here, and we are running out of time" the voices started to get louder by the second

"what about you," savage asked

"I'll be okay the right side of the tunnel leads to a river nearby I can find my way back to the ocean"

"Promise that you'll make it back to the ship," grey asked

"I will" I smiled "now go" I pushed them down the dark tunnel but before I could leave captain grabbed my arm and looked at me.

"Promise me you'll make it back to the ship"

"I promise savage" I chuckled a little he let go of my arm but grabbed the sides on my arms and held me close to him, I looked into his blue eyes that were illuminated by the fire. a shiver crept up my back.

"I'm serious Elizabeth, get back to the ship that's an order"

"yes sir" I nodded just as the light from a torch could be seen rounding the corner I quickly made my way down the right side of the tunnel being sure to make noise as I went.
