Chapter 6: trouble mako island part

As we stopped kissing for breath, we got interupted by my mom. "Good night girls. Be ready for your first quiz tomorrow." my mom says.

I smiled at Alycia, and we both headed to sleep. All night I just thought about how amazing it was to kiss her. But, I was overthinking too much, like she probably doesn't like me.

Waking up to the alarm clock as usual. Alycia walked to my bathroom and brushed her teeth. Then I went to brush my teeth. On the way out, I saw a smiley Alycia. "Why you so smiley?" I tell her. "I don't know, maybe because I w- it's nothing. Got any clothes I can borrow. I know you love me in them." She tells me on purpose smirking. I roll my eyes. "Yeeh, ok tease."

I grabbed a white hoodie with a random logo and threw it at Alycia smirking. "Hey, y/n." I laughed. And then gave her some black ripped jeans. A black hat, denim jacket, and as I grabbed my white converses. "You better not dirty these new shoes." I tell her. "New? As in you've never worn them?" She raised an eyebrow shocked. "Yup." I say. As I was looking for clothes.

As she changes in the bathroom, I changed into black ripped jeans, a t-shirt and a camouflage jean jacket a black hat, and black vans.

"Damn, what's with all these good styles y/n. I look hot." Alycia comes out the bathroom. And I just laugh at her comment.

But I thought it would be funny to flirt and tease her a bit. So I got really close to her. Looking at her and down to her lips. I licked my lips, and just stared in her eyes. "You know what Alycia, you do look hot." I leaned in to kiss her, and as she closed her eyes I walked to the door. "Well time for that math quiz." I say leaving the room leaving her in there. Damn it was really funny.

After break fast we walk to school as usual with our friends. "Aww look It's the cute couple." Emi says. Making Alycia and I roll our eyes. "You two need to date you make it too obvious you guys like each other." Lizzie says.

"Lizzie shut up already, you ship too much." Alycia says irritated. Which only made Lizzie laugh. "Leesh, it's true. You've liked her since forever, I wished you two dated as kids too." Alycia glared at Lizzie. "Wait, Alycia what does Lizzie mean by that?" The others say in shock. "Y/n and I uh- uh -uh kissed. And um she was the first person I've ever kissed." Alycia says stuttering. "So cute, you guys are meant to be." Emi says hugging the both of us. It was an unexpected reaction from Emi.

Then we saw that one person approach. "Hey Alycia, can we talk?" She looked at me, and I shook my head in no. But she went off anyway. I put my head down looking at the floor. Emi, Lizzie, and David walked me to our first class. On the way there David spoke up. "I don't get what Alycia sees in jaylen, but honestly the way Alycia just gives you false hope on wanting you isn't right y/n." He says. And he's not wrong. I only sighed. As my friends hugged me. And we headed to our seats.

At the end of class, I headed out with Emi, and Lizzie. We were wanting for Alycia at our usual spot. she came with Jaylen. I was so heart broken by it. Alycia still talking to someone who destroyed the one thing that helps ease my mental health, which is my gaming pc.

Alycia POV

As Jaylen and I talked. She was saying how sorry she was about breaking Y/n PC. And that she will give her the money. I got happy, that she realised what she did wrong. But one thing I was shocked about was what she asked me next. She asked me out again, I didn't know whether to say yes or no. I care about y/n so much. My first love, first kiss. I don't know if I like her. I looked at Jaylen and just nodded my head without thinking, it just happened. she was really happy and she kissed me. Then I headed to my classes as she headed to hers.

"Hey Leeshy." I looked back and saw it was Jaylen and I smiled, and we both headed to my friends.

As Jaylen and I arrive, my eyes went to Y/n. she didn't look at me. It actually hurt, then Emi spoke. "What the hell is she doing here?!" Emi says irriated. "Is n it obvious Emi. Leeshy, and I are dating." I looked at her then my friends who had shocked faces. But Y/n was giving Jaylen and I death glare, and she got up. "LEESHY? ARE YOU CRAZY ALYCIA? ONLY I CALLED YOU LEESHY. BUT RIGHT YOU GOT YOURSELF WRAPPED AROUND JAYLENS FINGER." And Y/n walked away. "Wow, she's jealous much. Hey Y/n you don't get to call her that anymore." I gulped as Y/n turned around and walked up to Jaylen. "Right, because now she's yours. But stay out of my way." she says glaring at me. "Yeah, also here's your money. Go back and play your video games nerd." jaylen says making Y/n look down at the money. "Thanks." Is all she says and leaves.

Emi and Lizzie shake their heads. "You got to stop messing with her feelings Leesh." Lizzie says. Then they both leave home too.

"I have to go Jaylen." I tell her. Until Y/n, Emi, Lizzie, and David come back running. This wasn't good. "Something happened at mako. and it not good." david informs. "what do you mean." i tell him. "The moon pool as been drained. and its slowly going to kill all mermaids, but there's a catch." I looked at him. "what is the catch David?" I say worried now. He gulped. "We need a smart high class mermaid, and out of all the pods in the sea there is only three, one of them including Y/n from our pod. Alycia, I know how much Y/n means to you. so what I am about to say you aren't going to like this, but its a set of patterns that has to be figured out, but its deadly." I was really shocked. I couldn't let her risk her life.

"If your not guilty Y/n you should do it, and save all the pods. one life over many. just saying." Jaylen says. "Over your dead body Jaylen, Y/n is everything to this pod without a trio the pod is outcasted. she is the one that brought us together." Emi says really mad.

"Emi is right Jaylen, without her Emi and I would have never been friends. we went from finding one more member, but when we found out Y/n was left with no pod in her year. we took her in. she was special, only mermaid born a year no mermaid was born. There's nobody like her she's--." i paused. I couldn't say it. "she's a what Leeshy?" I looked to Emi, Lizzie, Y/n, and David shaking their heads not to tell. "Its nothing Jaylen."

Later that day, we all were looking at this pattern, until Jaylen pushed Y/n into the pattern puzzle. making mako shake, and close the puzzle door. throwing us out the pathway of mako island entrance.

leaving Y/n stuck in the mako chamber of puzzles. "AHHHHHHH!!" is heard from Y/n.

So sorry for not writing for a decade. I wanted to say I am back. And I am sorry for a crappy chapter. I have been out due to personal problems. But I really wanted this story to be something. And I will continue to make it happen. One question. For you all who read. Do you guys want y/n to get a new lover, or do you want her to fight for Alycia ? Do you guys like the idea of y/n and Alycia possibly being a thing?
