Chapter 9: falling about

Y/n's pov
"Alycia wait please—." She slams the door.

"Hey y/n I am sorry I kissed you. I just caught up in the moment." Dana says now hugging me. I simply started sobbing on her shoulder. "It's not your fault." I tell her. "You really like her don't you?" Dana says now looking into my eyes.

I nodded my head. "Yeah, I really do. She was my first kiss, first person I've ever liked and I haven't liked anyone ever since I've tried but it's not her." I say. "Maybe it's because you haven't let yourself give someone else a chance. She may be jealous and like you but while with someone else. Yet she won't own up to herself about things." Dana tells me.

"Dana it's time for you to go home." My mom says. "See yeh y/n." She says hugging me.

"So, why did Alycia leave. She was very upset?" My mom says as she sat down on my bed. I gulped. "She was mad because I kissed Dana." I say looking away. "Kissed Dana. I see." My mom says furrowing her eyes brows at me. "Mum, no it's not like that. I really like Alycia, but I don't know if she likes me." I say fidgeting with my hands. "I told Alycia not to mess with your heart. But you kids never listen. Look y/n Alycia is dating Jaylen. I know it hurts you that she is jealous yet won't date you. But there's something I haven't told you." My mom says as she gets quiet. "What do you mean mum." I looked at her discombobulated. "You and Alycia have a connection. A strong connection. And I think you're old enough to know what I mean. In order for that connection to succeed you two need to sleep together." Riki says weirded out as she tells her daughter about sex life. "Mum, what in the bloody world." I say shocked. "Hahah, sorry. Get some sleep. I hope Alycia owns up to her feelings or your full mermaid powers won't activate." I sighed on what she said and said good night to her as I headed to bed.

At school I was just chilling at my favourite place. "Hey." A familiar voice is heard. I turned around and it was Dana. "Hey Dana." I said looking at the nice view of the dock. "Are you okay?" Dana says. "Yeah I am fine." I say. "I like the outfit." She says. "Thank you." I say looking at her smiling. "I could say the same." Someone says as I turned around to look at them. And it was Alycia "Hey can we talk, in private." Alycia says. Which Dana took note and left but she wasn't so happy about it.

"We haven't hung out. Plus Jaylen isn't here today so I thought I'd take advantage to talk to you." She says smiling at me. "So I am a replacement for your girlfriend." I tell her looking at her. "No, that's not what I meant. I miss you a lot." She says grabbing my arm.

I didn't think and pulled her into a kiss. She was shocked but didn't hesitate to kiss back. "Y/n wait, I can't do this. It's not right to Jaylen." She says. And I let go and rolled my eyes. "I got to go Alycia." I say as I run out into the dock. "Y/n wait." Alycia says following me.

At the moon pool I sat there leaning my head to the edge of the pool. "Y/n I am sorry. I am sorry that I lead you on." Alycia says putting her hand on my shoulder. "You're sorry? Alycia I love you. And you lead me on. This isn't you." I say as I storm off. Leaving a shocked Alycia.

"Alycia are you okay?" Lizzie says. "Yeah I am fine." Alycia says. "No you are not tell me?" Lizzie says. "I can't do this Lizzie, y/n told me she's in love with me. At the moon pool. And I like Jaylen but truly I think I'm also in love with y/n" Alycia says shocking herself at the works she just said. " hahaha there's your answer leesh." Lizzie says. "But it's too late y/n hates me." Alycia sighs. "Your mum will kill me for telling you this. But you need to sleep with y/n if you don't mako can't be saved from the chamber." Lizzie says. Alycia's eyes go wide. "Wait what?" Alycia says. "Alycia I can't believe how blind you are. You and y/n have this connection since the day you kissed her. She never will like anyone but you. And you will always find a way to her regardless of who you date." Lizzie says.

"You know don't you?" I say to Alycia as she walks into my room. "About us you know, yeah I do." Alycia says awkwardly. "You don't have to Alycia. I get it you're in love with Jaylen." I say. "I love you. I can't help it I love you y/n" alycia says.

Y/n pulled Alycia into a kiss that ended up into a heated kiss. "Hey Jaylen stop." My mom yells from the hallway.

Alycia and I looked at at each other cozy in my sheets. "Get changed Alycia i will head to the bathroom." I tell her and she nodded her head.

"Alycia, why are you here?" Jaylen says. "Just hanging out with my friend why?" She says. "Liar I know what happened." Jaylen says real mad. "If you know what happened then why did you ask." Y/n says.

"You did not do what I think you did." Jaylen ran to me and punches me on the stomach. "Jaylen what the heck !" Alycia yells.

I was in huge pain as it was a hard punch. "Y/n, are you okay?" My father comes in. "Yeah, I'm okay dad." I say as I get up. "Get out, hurt my daughter again I won't hesitate to get mermaid counsel on you!" My father says as he hugged alycia and I.

"I feel this strong energy Alycia, and my huge Bruce went away." "Y/n watch out." Alycia says. And I turned around and a huge force launches Jaylen and she hit the ground hard and she goes unconscious. I shocked myself and ran off
