Alex pov
I sat down on the damp, cold grass of the schools back hill. Hidden from the sun by the tall building.

I sat writing in my book. Well lyrics.

I know that I can't stand up for myself when I get pushed around. But I can in my writing.

I was so engrossed in my writing I didn't hear my best friend Jack sit next to me. So when I look up to think, I was scared shitless upon seeing him.

"Oh shit sorry Lex. Didn't mean to scare you." Jack said hurriedly.

"No it's fine. I was just surprised is all." I commented while calming Jacks worries about scaring me.

"That's good. I just wanted to talk." Jack said while looking down at his hands playing with the grass.

I love talking to Jack. He is just so beautiful. I want him to be mine one day. But I know he will never love me back.

"What is it? Just spit it out."

"Promise you won't leave me?"

"Why would I leave you? You're my best friend. I could never leave you."

"That's the problem I don't want to be just best friends. I want more." Jack blushed and looked down after his short outburst that had me taken aback.

"W-what?" I stuttered.

"You heard me. I love you Alex. Always have."

This was the best news ever! I have always loved Jack I was just to afraid to admit it.

"I love you too. Always. And forever." I whispered.

"Really?"

"Yeah. I was just to afraid to say it. And I was worried that you would hate me too. Just like all the people who push me around. I couldn't have you doing the same. It would just be too much."

"I could never hate you. That is just unacceptable. But Alex?"

"Yeah Jacky?"

"W-will you be my b-boyfriend?" Jack shyly mutters while blushing and looking anywhere but my eyes.

"Yes. I would love to."

"Good. Cause now no one will hurt you with me by your side. I'll never leave you."

"Well now that we are together I can finally do this." I said while I crashed my lips to Jacks.

We sat on the hill just kissing while the world passed by. But in this moment I felt like time was frozen. Like it just stopped for us.

It was our moment to share. No one could hurt us. Our bond was to strong. Partly because we knew everything about each other and partly because this was true love.

As the need for oxygen was getting stronger, I was forced to pull away to refill my lungs.

"I love you." I whispered while Jack rested his forehead against mine.

"I love you too Lex."

"Don't say 'too' it sounds like your agreeing. Like you're being forced." I just hated when people say that.

"Then I love you Lex."

"And I love you."

"Now let's lay down and forget our problems for a little while."

"Okay."

Jack laid pack and pulled me with him.

I rested my face in the crook of his neck while I set my lyric book down next to me.

"This couldn't be more perfect." I whispered while pressing a light kiss to Jacks neck.

"I know." He replied while kissing my head.

And with that we just laid their in each others arms, not bothered by all the shit in our life's.

I couldn't ask for more.
