"What's the situation over there?" Lesley asked as a familiar presence appeared in front of her. She didn't look up as she still was finishing the paper at hand.

"A mad woman and her dragon are wrecking havoc."

If Lesley was drinking something she would've spit and choked. Instead her head snapped up in surprise.

"What?!"

"I mean it isn't that far fetched since it is the Cadia Riverlands." He sighed and made his way over to the blonde haired lady. He crossed his arms as he leaned on the wall beside her.

Lesley gave the man a look that said 'get off the wall' But all he did was look more smug. She sighed and turned back to her documents. "Crazy... lady... havoc... dragon..." She murmured as she jotted down what the man had said shaking her pen a little to try to squeeze the last amount of ink out.

He let out a laugh "You're actually writing that down?"

"What else? I'm suppose to give a report to the princess about these types of things." Lesley said without even giving him so much as a glance "Oh and get off the wall and get out Gusion." She said as she threw the now inkless pen toward white haired man.

"So cold." He pouted as he caught the pen twirling it in between his fingers before tossing it into the bin that was next to her desk. "What if I don't want to?"

Lesley lifted her head and met his gaze that was taunting her "I'll personally escort you out.

"That sounds--"

"Not what're you're thinking." She cut him off as she glared at him "It'll be painful so I suggest you see yourself out."

"Kinky." He muttered under his breath before pushing himself off the wall and making his way to the door."

Lesley shook her head and returned back to her work. She wasn't going to let this minor distraction distract her. She heard a sigh from the doorway making her snap her head back up.

"Do you never leave that desk or something? What are you married to your work?" He queried one hand on the door.

"I—"

"i'M nOt maRrIed tO mY woRk." He mocked in a slightly high pitched voice.

"That wasn't what I was going to say." Even though that was what she actually was going to say.

"Then?" Gusion let go of the door and made his way back up to her.

His face was inches away from hers. She scrunched up her brows and moved her gaze to anywhere but him. She stood up abruptly and fixed the documents on her desk, sliding them into a drawer and locking it.

"I'm going to pay a visit to the Cadia Riverlands." She said walking past him.

She heard a chuckle behind her as she made her way out the door. She was pretty sure her face was heating up but she ignored it as she made her way to her room.

"Why are you here?" Lesley asked with a raised eyebrow she folded her arms across her chest.

"Why not?" Gusion asked taking a seat across from her in the carriage that was headed towards Cadia Riverlands.

Lesley made no attempts at making him get off. She simply sighed and looked out the window as the carriage started moving towards their destination.

After a few moments of peace Gusion broke the silence "It's getting boring in here."

"Well you can get off if you want to but I'm not stopping the carriage." Lesley replied not taking her eyes off the outside world.

He raised a brow "Touché." He dug into his pocket and brought out a coin tossing it into the air before catching it in his hands. "Let's place heads or tails. If I win I get to ask you a question. If you win you get to ask me one."

"No." Lesley said shutting the idea down without hesitation.

"Oh come on you have nothing to lose. It's just a simple questions game." Gusion whined crossing his arms and pouting a little.

She glanced over at the silver haired man and rolled her eyes. Right now he looked like a child to her "How about if I win you shut up for the rest of the ride."

"That'd be no fun." He chuckled unfolding his arms.

"That or no game."

"Fine fine we'll have it your way." Gusion said holding his arms up in defeat.

With that he tossed the coin and the first round began.

"Why do you wear an eyepatch?"

"Because I can't see on that eye." Lesley answered reluctantly "There's no way you've been able to win this much without cheating." She said her frustration beginning to show "You know what instead of making you shut up I'll just have you answer a question instead if I win."

Gusion let out a laugh "Finally caving in? I even let you tossed the coin a few times and I still won. Trust me I'm not cheating."

She glared at him "Heads."

He shrugged his shoulders and tossed the coin catching it in his palms. Lesley leaned forward in anticipation waiting for the reveal. As soon as he opened his hand she let out a sigh of relief which quickly turned into a look of triumph.

"So—" Before she was able to ask her question she was interrupted.

"Lady Vance we are here." The driver called.

Lesley's face then morph into one of annoyance.

Gusion chuckled "Guess you'll have to save that question till we're done here." He pushed opened the door and got out. Holding out a hand for her.

She scoffed but a slight smile slowly made its way on her face. Reaching her hand out to take his hand she stepped out into the stormy skies of the Cadia Riverlands.
