The Amazon forest is a spooky place filled with weird creatures. Since it is untouched by mankind, it is one of the most spiritual areas I have ever been to because of that I always feel like I'm being followed. I hear barking followed by a high pitched cry. I run to were I heard the noise. All I see is Epsilon getting attacked by monkeys while she was holding some fruit.

"Just drop it, Epsilon!"I shout to her.

She looks at me and tells me to move or I'm going to die.

I wake up breathing hard and I look at her but she is still sleeping.

"Just a bad dream." I say to myself.

I leave my tent and look around, there is no one in site. The sun is rising, so I wake up my lazy pet and continue walking to the temple I see in the distance.

After a couple hours of venturing in the Amazon, the forest becomes thicker and more mysterious. I eventually have to start hacking my way through some parts. After five minutes of hacking, I arrive at a clearing. It seems promising so I see up camp and cook up some dinner for me and Epsilon.

"Joseph." I hear someone whisper. I wake up quickly and see figure that seemed to made of clouds but eyes as dark as the night sky.

"Who are you?" I ask him.

"Someone who will help you unlock your full potential." It says.

It dissolves away and I sit there confused of what just happened to me.

I get up, pack my things, and continue walking until I see a statue.

"Hypnos, the embodiment of sleep." I read aloud.

I look up and see the statue looks like the thing that woke me up from my sleep. After staring at it for a bit, I continue walking to the temple. The night creeps up on me fast and I'm only a days walk to my destination. I set up camp, eat, and got tot sleep.

I wake and look around just to realize that I'm on a freeway. There is a car that is broken down. I see a man working on it trying to fix it.

Do you need help?" I shout to him.

No response. He doesn't even look up. I cross the street and put my hand on his shoulder, but my hand passes through him. I gasp and look around and I see this kid wandering into the street.

"Joseph, get back over here." the man screams.

I turn and look at the man. It's my father. I'm reliving the moment he died. The moment that I blame myself for his death. He runs to child version of me and pushes me out the way of a truck. He doesn't move in time. I stare at him as the little me runs to him crying.

"D-daddy." he says through sobs.

I watch as the little eight year old kid realizes that his father's death was his fault. He didn't listen to him when he says to stay in the car and wait. His father is dead and it is his fault.

I wake up for real this time. I break into tears and cry away the rest of the night.

Morning came and I still remembered the dream.

"It was not your fault your father could've let you die but he sacrificed himself for you. It wasn't your fault, he chose his fate and you shouldn't carry around that guilt." I hear someone say. Behind me stood Hypnos smiling.

"Thank you for showing me that and making me realize that it wasn't my fault." I tell him.

He smiles and vanishes. I turn and see Epsilon yawning and stretching.

"Let's go." I tell her and we run.

It took us five minutes to reach the temple instead of a day. I look down at myself but nothing has changed and I realize that the guilt prevented me from using my godly abilities. I smile and walk into the temple.
