The Ascended

A Possible Hope

I wake up and the hound is still sleeping, so I make breakfast for the both of us. It was early morning because the sun was starting to rise. I started a fire and heated up some beans. The hell hound woke up and have it some jerky.

"You ate the rest of my meat." I tell the her.

It wags it's tail as it is gnawing onto the jerky.

"If you are going to stay with me then you will need a name. How about Jenny?"

She growls.

"Brianna?"

She growls again.

"Emily?"

The growling gets louder.

"How about Epsilon?"

It stops eating the jerky, jumps on me, and licks my face.

"Okay, stop licking me."

Epsilon jumps off of me and continues eating her food. While I was eating I see saw they are kid and his wolf walking somewhere. I quickly pack up my stuff and follow him. He leads me to this school that trains people to harness their abilities. It seemed like a fun place so I watched them train for a bit. While I was walking through the hallway some girl kept on giving me looks, which was weird because I'm supposed to be invisible to them, but I shrugged it off as nothing and continued with my day. The kid I was following gave off an aura, so I followed him for a bit and didn't figure out what was causing it, but he didn't notice me at all.

The next day I got to the school late, but early enough to see people go through their training finals. I saw the kid, the one with the aura, do the test and he put on a spectacular show. He became angry and a released a wave of energy that destroyed everything around him and feel to the ground unconscious. I went back to my tent after that to check on Epsilon and go to sleep.

I went the school the next day and I was confronted by that girl.

"Who are you?" she said.

"A traveler." I replied with a smile. I begin to walk away, but she stops me.

"Who are you really and why doesn't anybody else see you?" She ask me.

"Like I said I'm a traveler and you can only see me because your special." I answer back as I'm walking away.

I went back to the tent realizing there was for me at that place, for that day.

The woods is a good place to be it is quiet and far from society.

In the middle of the night I was walking around when I was confronted by the kid's wolf. It was very friendly, nice, and the size of a lion. It was very intelligent and understood what I was saying. We parted ways after ten minutes and I continued with my walk.

I woke up at midday and I saw this huge tear in the sky and a huge beast fighting with an angel. I rushed to the school, but by the time I arrived the best and it's minions left. I saw the kid walking away with a group of people behind him. I followed and spied on them. One of the adults was telling that they should go to this area in the nightmare zone, but the kid wanted to go elsewhere so they ended going to that area. He wanted to to a temple in the Amazon.

Instead of getting ready they to a party and it seemed like fun so I joined in. While I was partying the girl kept on watching, she probably assumed I was one of those things that attacked.

"Are you one if thing that attacked the school?" she asked me with an attitude.

"No." I simply reply.

"What are you, then?" she asked me a little bit nicer.

"It doesn't matter." I tell her. I finish the rest of my drink. "Goodbye Sam."

I walk away.
