To his relief, he didn't need to try and pry Gaara from anyone, or clean up any dead bodies. In fact, other than things being tense between all of them, mostly due to Gaara's...well, less than stellar social skills, things went relatively smoothly. However, it was clear that they were not very welcome there anymore, and it was also very clear that the old glassmaker wanted them to hurry up and leave.

So they did just that, Gaara was satisfied with now having a full gourd of 'quality' sand and as for himself...he was just happy to get out of the stinking heat, that and he was thinking that maybe he should send Temari and Kankuro a letter at some point. He can't help but understand why they were the way they were with Gaara, a newfound respect for the redhead's siblings surfaces.

Now they were back in the somewhat cooler environment of the forest, heading back towards the border of the Land of Fire, and thus getting back on track towards Takigakure. However, despite the fact that they were finally getting further away from the Village of Artisans, he still couldn't shake off the feeling that something wasn't right.

"Hey Gaara...do you feel that?? or is it just me??" he asks cautiously, since the redhead was still acting off towards him, Gaara stiffen's at his words.

"What do you mean?...feel what exactly?..." Gaara replies, keeping his eyes to his front.

"That something seems off...I don't know..maybe I'm just being paranoid, but so far I've come to realise my gut instinct is rarely wrong..." he explains.

"Hn...you think we are being followed?" Gaara asks finally stopping on the next branch that met his feet.

"Hmm...yeah..something like that, in fact I felt this way since before leaving that guys shop. He seems to have it out for you I think..." he explains further.

"It wouldn't surprise me..." Gaara says cooly.

"Wouldn't... surprise you??" he says dumbfounded.

"I already explained to you that the Village of Artisans does not have a good relationship with Suna or my father...I have no doubt he eventually recognised who I was, however judging by the state of the village, I have no doubt that the man probably needed the money...there was little chance of him denying me and I highly doubt he would dare to oppose me...Even if he did, he would of been easily taken cared of...he may look strong...but brawn will not be enough to defeat me..." Gaara explains cooly before continuing "If it gives you peace of mind, I am a sensory type ninja... I can sense out the area if you are that worried..." Gaara then suggests.

"Yeah..I think...that will probably be a good idea.." he agree's, happy that Gaara has finally said more than five words to him.

Suddenly, particles of sand began to come out of Gaara's gourd and began to spread around the area. He watches in fascination as the other Jinchuriki concentrated, just how does he sense people using sand?? He couldn't help but wonder if he can do anything like that too...would he classify as a sensory ninja??

"Yes kid, you're a sensory ninja...how the hell did you not realise that by now? surely you realised that you always had the ability to sense others negative emotions and intentions, not only that but you're right on the money...we are being followed" Kurama confirms for him.

"What!? Wait...so all this time...they weren't flukes?!" he shouts back.

"Heh...for the love of- of course they weren't! Surely you're not this oblivious kid! You are a Jinchuriki for christ sake! My Jinchuriki no less! You are attuned to everyone else's negative emotions, thus you are able to sense when danger is ahead, or read peoples inner intentions" Kurama explains to him.
