Chapter 30: Introducing! Jiraiya!

Jiraiya P.O.V

'Oh yes..heh heh...very nice! Look at that babes curves! Hehe I'll have plenty inspiration tonight! The bathhouse never fails!' he thinks to himself as he peeks through a hole in the wall, a hole that just happened to have the best view of the entire onsen, the ladies onsen that is. Even though he was brought back to the village for another reason entirely, he couldn't resist the pulls of the Konoha bath house, it's not his fault that Konoha has so many babes, he was just a poor sucker unable to resist such important research for his Icha Icha Series, one must be dedicated to his craft you see...very dedicated.

"Ahem! Just what are you doing outside of my onsen!! Having a peek at the woman's bath are we!? Well don't you worry because I'll be sure to show you something real good! My fist in your face!!" A woman's voice shouts, it was so loud that all the women in the baths heard and began to squeal then hide themselves.

'No...don't go...' he whines in his head as he as faces the owner of the establishment.

"Hey what the hell is wrong with you!? You interrupted my research!" he shouts at the woman.

"Eh! Research!? Is that what you old crones are calling it these days!?" the woman shouts and gives him an impressive kick, causing him to be airborne and crash land into the river outside of the bath house "if I catch you out here again I swear I'll whop you a new one you hear me!?" the woman shouts before charging back inside grumbling to herself. He deadpans the woman, half of his face peeking out from the water... suddenly, someones feet blocks his view, a familiar voice reaching his ears.

"I see someone hasn't changed much since I last saw him..." the voice says.

He looks up to see Kakashi Hatake also known as the hidden leafs Copy Ninja, he finally lifts his head from the water, pulls himself out of the river, and tries to squeeze the water from his now wet white hair "well well, if it isn't Kakashi, as you can see I came just like you asked me too... so what is it that you needed me for anyway...I have much to do you see..".

Kakashi suddenly grew serious, and he immediately realises that something was wrong, whatever Kakashi wants it must be pretty serious "unfortunately things have changed...originally I wanted to ask if you could train my student...however...as of last night he has gone missing...pretty much without a trace so far...".

'Uhh..this does sound serious' he thinks to himself "So you wanted me to train this student of your's but now suddenly he has gone missing...what the hell made you think I would want to train the little brat anyway,  you know that I'm no good with kids! Why choose me of all people!?" he protests in annoyance.

"The student I was going to ask you to train was your very own Godson...Naruto Uzumaki, you know..the kid you had promised my sensei that you would look after if they left?? I had hoped that this would have been a way for you to get to know him, however..." suddenly Kakashi sighs deeply.

This information snapped him right out of it...his godson...Naruto Uzumaki was missing? Not only that but that also meant that the Nine Tailed Jinchuriki was missing, since Naruto is of course, the Nine Tails vessel. Worry for his godson began to settle in...underlined with a bit of guilt...Kakashi just had to bring up the fact that he had failed to look after and be there for his godson like he promised.

"This does sound serious, I'll make sure to head up to the Hokage's office to see if there is anything I can do" he says as he tries to think of anyone that would want to take Naruto..unfortunately there were numerous of possibilities..but one group catches his concerns the most, the Akatsuki.

"Good, the Hokage will be expecting you, now if you will excuse me, I have my own mission to handle, be sure to keep an eye out for Orochimaru whilst your here too" he says before 'poofing' away.
