HERE WE GO!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Y/n was laid down on her couch, fast asleep, the TV was still on and she was still upset about Nadine and Erwin and their relationship. She hated the fact that she was there for Nadine and somehow... Nadine found someone else. She knew it was life being life, she knew there some lesson that needed to be involved.

There was always something involved that seemed to mess things up, however, she wasn't in the mood to figure out what lesson she had to learn. She simply wanted to skip to the good part, the part where she was happy with a good paying job that can support her and someone who loved her and someone who was just as crazy about her as she was about them.

She wanted someone to feel like that with her, however, there was no one. She felt like there wasn't going to be one as well and just felt like some crazy dream that she's trying to chase but is too far ahead that she can't keep up.

She feels like she can never keep up.

Y/n sighed as she awoke quickly to the sound of knocking on the door mixed with a bad dream, she sighed and stood up. She itched the back of her neck and stood up, she swung her body from side-to-side which cracked her back but she still felt a small ache in her lower back, she sighed as her shoulders fell and she walked toward the door, she unlocked it and opened the door, prepared to tell whoever it was to leave her alone.

But... when she sees a crying Nadine in front of her, all of her thoughts and the plans to say 'No' then shut the door were out the window.

"...N—Nadine...?" Y/n asked confused, as she stepped outside and shut the door behind her, their bodies close to one another. "What happened? Is there something I can do—" Nadine wrapped her arms around her neck tightly and sobbed into her chest as she clung her body onto Y/n. Y/n hugged her back, both girls melting into one another.

"H—He broke up... w—with me." She sobbed out, Y/n's shoulders fell and not a word was said from her, she simply picked Nadine up carefully; opened the door, headed inside, and shut it behind her. She walked over to the couch and laid her down, she placed a blanket over Nadine and laid down next to her, Nadine scurried to her side and leaned her body against hers. "Don't leave me... please, please, don't leave." Nadine panicked as she felt scared and wished for something good to happen as she had such an emotional day. Y/n nodded her head,

"I won't leave, I promised you, didn't I?" Y/n assured, a small smile on her face. She finally felt needed for once in her life and she didn't want to mess it up. She placed a kiss on Nadine's head and gave her back rubs. Nadine continued to sob for what felt like hours but Y/n didn't mind, she didn't want to say anything either, well, she did let out the small, 'I'm here, you're safe.' every so often but not overdoing it. She just wanted to let Nadine let it all out and if she felt tired enough, she could sleep but if she wanted to talk, she could be comfy. "Now, I know I've been pretty quiet but I just want you to know... if you want to talk... that's more than okay... if you want to sleep, I'll be right here." Y/n softly told her, a small smile tugged on her lips. Nadine smiled slightly as she let out a small hum,

"I'm—I'm—I'm really... really ti—tired." She stammered out, Y/n nodded her head and started to give her head scratches,

"Let's get some rest then, hmm? We can go out for burgers once you wake up." Y/n explained to Nadine which she smiled at.
