Y/N's POV:

I'm in History class with Nadine until I hear my name get called on the intercom throughout the school,

"Y/n L/n, can you come to the principle's office?" The girl says, I sigh and roll my eyes packing my stuff up. Nadine turns to me,

"What'd you do?"

"You think I'm in trouble?" I ask her, letting out a small scoff. She rolls her eyes at my failed joke,

"Oh, ha, ha. What'd you do?"

"I didn't do anything." I tell her hoping she'll believe me, the door opens and I see one of the school workers and someone I never thought to see again behind her, staring at me with a smile. Panic floods my eyes,

"Can I borrow Y/n?" I quickly stand up and rush out of the class, I grab the girl's hand and drag her away from the class hearing 'Oo's' and 'Get it, girl!' from the popular guys, I roll my eyes at this and drag her around the corner, I take her into an empty classroom and nudge her in,

"Whoa! Hey! Not even a 'hi, I'm excited to see you'?"

"No, cause I'm not." I sigh out and shut the door, turning to her, "What the hell are you doing here, Caitlyn?" I ask her slightly pissed off,

"Relax, I'm just here to bring you back to New York." Caitlyn scoffs out, I shake my head.

"I'm not going back to New York, my dad kicked me out, remember?" I tell her which she giggles at.

"Yeah, didn't think he was serious."

"I bet..." I mumble,

"How's living alone? And out of all places, you come here? Seriously?"

"It was Alison's place, alright? I missed her and this was the only place that I felt... like I still had some sort of part of her with me." I explain to Caitlyn who nods her head understandingly, slowly nodding her head.

"Y'know I'm not gonna leave till I know you're coming back—?"

"I've made a friend here, alright? I don't need you up my back. And I already told you, Caitlyn, I'm not going back." I say starting to get angry, I hate how he always does this. My dad wants me to come back to him, and if I don't, he gets a few of his bodyguards to come get me and bring me back to which I just have to run off again. I'm not getting in with his bullshit company that doesn't even deserve to be popular.

"I get it, I do." Caitlyn sighs out and sits down on a teacher's desk, she droops her head toward me, almost as if she was trying to guilt trip me or ask for me to sit next to her; I roll my eyes and sit next to her on the desk.

"Since when have you ever been a rule breaker?" I ask her, a small scoff leaving my mouth as Caitlyn is honestly the sweetest soul ever. She would never intentionally hurt somebody.

"Ever since you left me and your dad." She tells me, looking over at me, and slightly biting her lip before she smiles at me. "Gosh, when did you get so attractive?" She asks throwing her arm around me, I roll my eyes at this and chuckle lightly shaking my head,

"I'm not that good looking." I deny which she scoffs at,

"Trust me, you were a mess back in New York—"
