When I came back from my trip to Gravity Falls, my parents really wanted to show me something. I didn't know what it could be. It could be anything. Like maybe they fixed me some drivers lessons or like a fun cake they made. But it was something really cool. They moved my room to the loft. Turns out, they saw some of my loft-room layout sketches and they decided to do it for me. They even bought me some mood lighting. It was honestly very cute and boy did they tell me all about their adventure.
I feel really bad towards Kenny. I accidentally avoided him almost the whole trip. With the party and all. He couldn't know about it tho, I think he'll be furious if he found out we took Clyde instead of him. I only didn't get before we went away that he acted like that kiss was nothing. He talked to me the day after about it. It was something about a scar. He told me everything really specific. Like that he got the scar from someone who pushed him over and then cut him. And the thing is Kenny really wanted me to know that he cried and that is why he didn't want to tell me. While he was saying that he held both of my hands, but his palms were really sweaty. I think he really wanted to take that kiss back no matter what. I let him have it. I said that it was no biggie, but next time he has to think before he kisses someone. And that he doesn't have to be ashamed of crying out of pain or angst.
But all that doesn't matter to me. The only thing that mattered was showing Kenny I can be there for him. I'm gonna make a friendship package for him. Then I heard three knocks on my door. I told them to come in. It was Kyle. He looked really well-rested. He had a bag in his hand that he placed on the ground. Then he put off his ushanka to free his red curls and loosened his jacket. He smiled at me.
"Hey," he put his jacket over your chair. He was wearing a black shirt today. "Hey, Kyle! Wow, you look really good in black," He looked at the ground when I said that a hand going through his curls. He shrugged it off by grabbing the bag from the ground he brought here.
"We forgot about the stuff you placed in my bags because they wouldn't fit yours," he handed me the bag. I thanked him.
"This is a really epic space you got here," he looked around and then sat on the bed (which is a big bed now, yw reader) and let the soft mattress and blankets hit his back. He closed his eyes. I went to lie next to him, doing the same. He turned his head to look me in the eyes.
"Did I interrupt your day?" he asked this very sincerely. I told him my plans to make the friend package and that he can come with me if he wanted to. He stood up and held out his hand to help me up.
"Let's get this bread," he said smiling.
We were going into town. It was quite crowded. I saw a drunk man coming towards us. Was it.... oh, no it was Stans father, Randy. I wanted to help him but I didn't know what he was going to do and I didn't want to get hurt for once. I looked him in the eyes, but suddenly I saw different outcomes to every situation. I didn't know what came over me but I know exactly what to do. I got over to Randy. Kyle tried to stop me by holding my arm and saying no but I pulled myself free. When I got to Randy, I told him my name and who I was.
"Ohw *hic* your that new girl from *hic* the Chinese food," while saying that he started leaning his full body weight onto me. "Hey, Randy. Can I have your phone? I know the beer line," he immediately gave me his unlocked phone. So I rushed over to his contacts to call Sharon to get him. I don't know why, but the 'vision' with the best outcome was the one where I blindfold Randy with his scarf. So I did that, saying: or else the beer won't come your way. Kyle went to stand next to me. I gestured that he had to be quiet. Sharon finally came. I let Kyle hold Randy so I could tell her what was going on. We loaded him in the car. Sharon thanked me and invited us to drink some tea with her. She had a new tea set or something.
