Akutagawa thought back on his life.
All the pain and suffering and all the mistakes he made but it suddenly all felt irrelevant
Right now, right there sat Atsushi
clouding his mind

"I don't know how this happened"

Finally he broke the silence now making eye contact with Atsushi

"I'm the happiest when I get lost in your eyes"

He looks down again

"Gosh this is so embarrassing but.. you're the brightest light in my dark life"

Atsushi was listening closely

"I love you"

Even in the moonlight you could see Akutagawa's cheeks turn red

"Took you long enough idiot"

Both boys were blushing and not looking each other in the eyes.
Atsushi slowly reached for Akutagawa's hand
He noticed that he was shaking and Atsushi's touch made him flinch

"So what now?"

"I don't know this is your fault just kiss me already"

"You- You really want that?"

"I mean I can also just leave right now if that's what you want"

"I'm taking my confession back"

Atsushi rolled his eyes
Their hands were both intertwined now and after a few more seconds of what now had become comfortable silence they finally shared a quick kiss

It was lovely experience for both of them.
Being with each other made them forget about their miserable lifes

Atsushi and Akutagawa loved each other quietly, it was just them against the world.

Together they felt more complete then ever and all the time that Akutagawa had normally wasted was now spend loving Atsushi.
