''Yeah.'' He said, a little hurt. ''Hey, how come every girl who sees me falls for me and you've never fallen for me.''

''Well, I've known you for ten years.'' I said. ''And I don't even see you as a best-friend___''

''What do you mean?" He asked, interrupting me.

''I see you like you're my brother.''

''Oh, really, thanks.'' He said, smiling. "So, do you want to do something tomorrow?''

''I can't.'' I said sadly to him. ''I have a date with Alec.'' I smiled at the thought of it.

''Ok, fine.'' He said a little angrily.

''Sorry, Josh." I said. "I really like him.''

''More than me?" He asked. Well, this was awkward.

''What, I like him as a boyfriend, I like you as a brother.''

''Alec is so beautiful, he's really pretty, and he's like a ___''

''Sex-appeal.'' I finished for him. He was trying to mock me.

''In a bad way.'' Said Josh with hope.

"No, in a good way." I said dreamily.

"What about me?" Josh asked. "Am I a sex-appeal in a good way?"

"Well." I said. "Beside him, you're in an ok way.''

"Ok, I guess he's an angel to you."

''He is an angel. Hey, do you want to help me find the perfect clothes to wear tomorrow.'' I said. He gave me a 'I'm not going to help you impress that guy tomorrow' look.

''Not going to happen, baby.'' He opened his front door and said, ''Bye, Anna.'' And left me on his porch.

''Ok, FINE.'' I yelled and headed home.
