Wake Up

''Annabelle, wake up.'' I heard. I grunted.

''What.'' I said sleepily

''It's eight thirty-two.'' Said my mom.

''So?''

''So, hurry up or you are going to be late for your lesson." She said, trying to pull me off the bed.

''Oh that, I'm not going.'' I said to her. She looked at me.

''You don't have a lesson today?'' She asked.

''No.'' I said, remembering Megan screaming at me to get out.

''What?" My mom asked, confused.

''Mom, I'm really tired.'' I said, pulling the cover over my head. I heard my mom getting out of her bedroom and heading downstairs to watch the news. I just wanted some three to four hours sleep, and hopefully, Megan would never have to wait for me because I could train myself alone.

I woke up by a voice, a familiar voice that I would know anywhere.

''Aww, look at that, she still sleeps with her mom.'' The voice was saying and I knew it was Josh. I opened my eyes and saw him videotaping me sleeping. ''And now sunshine is awake." He said. I threw one pillow at him. "Whoa, looks like sunshine is a dark shadow today.'' I could not help it but laugh at his last comment. ''Looks like she's back at being sunshine.''

''What time is it?" I asked.

''Ten-sixteen.''

''Can you sleep with me for a bit?'' I asked him. I could see that his eyes widened as he grinned.

''Sure.'' He said as he climbed up the bed and laid next to me. I turned to face him.

''I missed you.'' I said.

''I don't think you missed me more than I missed you.'' He said. ''I mean you should have seen us playing games, in every game I kept mentioning if you were there you would have won.'' I laughed at that.

''I bet you drove him crazy.'' I said. He smiled.

''You have no idea.'' He said. I pressed my body against his, I seriously loved the way our body were pressed together, he wrapped his arms around me as I slept.

I let my mind go blank, I didn't want to think about anything, I just wanted to sleep against Josh's body and stay like this forever.

I was seeing two images, one boy had reddish-brown hair with brown-greenish eyes, he was beautiful, The other one had light, blond hair with blue-violet eyes, he too was beautiful.

The boy who had the reddish-brown hair was somehow dangerous, he was pretending to be someone he wasn't. The boy who had the light, blond hair was so nice, he would make you laugh, make funny comments about you that would make you smile, he was so beautiful on the inside.

Finally, the girl had to choose between the two boys, which one was she really in love with, and the girl chose the first one. She was so stupid to not know that she should have chosen the second one, the one that really loved her and the one she was really in love with.

The girl was me, the reddish-brown boy was Alec and the light-blond boy was Josh. I awoke with a start. I found that Josh was looking at me, I looked back at him, and there was tender, softness....and love behind his blue-violet eyes. 'Could Josh really be my true love?' I thought. 'No, he can't because he's already in love.'

I wondered how long he's been in love, guess I would just have to ask.

''How long have you been in love, Josh?''

''Half my life.''

''Half your life.'' I said, confused.

"I've been in love with the same and only girl for eight years."
