''Do you think my mom knows anything about this Rosabelle?'' I asked, interested.''Um, I don't know, but I think my mom might know something.''
''Oh, great.'' I said, happy and excited. ''If she knows something, we should go ask when she's home."
''I said MIGHT.'' Josh said.
''Oh, but still, we could go ask her, she might know.'' I said. I was thinking about everything Josh told me. ''You know, all those things you were saying___''
''Oh, I was just guessing everything.'' He said, interrupting me.
''Yeah, they were pretty good guesses.'' I said, realizing everything. ''Gee, Josh. I've never thought you could be smart.''
''Yeah, actually, I don't think anybody can imagine Josh to be smart.'' He said. "I mean people are used with me being stupid.''
''You are NOT stupid.'' I said. ''I mean, I'm not smart either.''
''Yeah, you're not smart.'' He said. I looked at him. 'That was mean.' ''You're clever.''
''No, Josh. I'm not.''
''Look, when people meet you, they think you are funny and fun to be around, they never think you could be so smart, and then one day something happens and you're recognized.''
''Yeah, okay.'' I said. I was really flattered by Josh right now. ''That doesn't mean anything.''
''Yes, it does.'' Josh said smilingly. "It means that you're really smart and you know it. You just don't want to think you're smart, you have a brain, but you don't use it right.'' Josh finished. I was immobile. He was not the first one to tell me that.
We heard the front door opened.
''Hey, guys.'' Said my mom, moving toward us.
''Hi.'' Me and Josh responded.
''How was your day?'' Josh asked my mom.
''Um, not so bad.'' She said. She looked exhausted.
''Are you sure your day wasn't bad?'' I asked her. She looked at me tiredly, she sighed and said.
''I'm sure.''
''Mrs. Claire, you look so tired, why don't you take a nap'' Josh said. My mom smiled tiredly. At this moment, I felt bad for her.
''It's really nice of you, Josh, but I have to take care of dinner.''
"I'll take care of dinner, you go take a nap." I said.
''Thanks." She said with appreciation. She left the room and went upstairs to her bedroom.
''Come on, Josh.'' I said. He stood up and followed me to the garage.
''Can I drive?'' Josh asked. I looked at him and shook my head.
''No.'' I said.
"No.'' He said back.
''Yes.''
''Really?''
''No."
''Okay." He said. I drove the car while listening to the radio, we sang on our way to Little Caesar, me and Josh had a little fight over who was supposed to pay in Little Caesars, people stared at us, I wanted to pay but Josh disagreed, he wanted to be the one to pay, and I disagreed, I wanted to be the one to pay. But we got this worked out.
On our way home, we sang songs that were on the stereo, Josh's voice was hilarious, I laughed at his voice. Josh didn't have a bad voice, but sometimes you couldn't help but laugh. When we arrived home, I went upstairs to my mom and gave her some pizzas. She thanked me. I went back downstairs to join Josh, he was watching a football game, I seriously didn't care who was competing against who, I never liked or would ever like football and basketball games.
