4:25 am

I waked up early, stretching on the couch waiting for my mom to pop in. Tiredness was hitting me like bat, my eyes were beginning to close slowly, and I was out like a light.

5:14 am

I felt a gentle hand rest on my shoulder.

"Wake up, you fool."

"MOM!!!" I jumped out of the couch and hugged her tightly.

"I missed you so-o-o much, you have no idea." I stated hugging her tighter.

"Me too baby, I was going to come earlier if your father didn't stop to see a soccer practice." She stared at my dad, as he face his head the other way.

"You ready for some coffee." We always went to the coffee shop downtown to catch up on everything my mom missed, then we would make up for all the fun times she wasn't there.

"Sure let me get my bag." She walked over to the table and retrieve her bag.

The drive was quiet but nice, we listened to some of our favorite music.

"Ok, so first thing first-" she sat down to a window seat.

"Your the realist?" I joked.

"Har har, very funny." She said sarcastically, "But no, it's time to talk business." She sat up straigher and I did the same.

"Uh, before this goes any far, I'm not planning on taking over your business."

She rose an eyebrow and had a blank face, -something her and my dad had in common-

"Are you serious, I've worked to hard for you just to let this buisness crumble now lets get this straight, you will be the CEO of our company." She sounded determined, I hate it.

" Whether you like it or not and your children will continue this buisness too."

Why is everyone picking on my -not even born yet- children, who says I'm gonna have kids anyway.

" Do NOT get my undesigned children into this, they will be what they want to be and not under the pressure of you." I stood up for myself.

" I'm not pressuring your children I'm just telling you what will happen  in the future."

As you can see me and my mother love to debate over almost anything, we were always determined to stick up for our thoughts no matter what anyone said, and that is why we're stubborn. We both know each other weak spot and we tend to use it when our point is fading away.

"But it won't happen I swear on your dead brother it won't." I narrowed my eyes and she gave me this evil stare.

" Whatever let's get off the topic." I stated as our coffee arrived.

"Did your father told you that we're having dinner with the James family." She took a sipped of her latte.

"No what time?"

"8:00" she answered.
