"Come on, Daniela, make a goal!" I could hear him shouting across the field. The pressure my dad gaves me, was hard enough but having to deal with 20 seconds left in the game is harder.
A whistle blew in my ears signaling that a time out has been called, thank God. The girls ran to their team coach as I went for some water.
"I didn't know you play soccer." a familiar voice greeted. My eyes widened with excitement as I saw Ian walking closser to me.
"What are you doing here." I let out a smile as we hugged.
"I was on my way home, and a beautiful girl caught my eyes." He winked my way, and I laughed in respond
"Well, Mr.Romeo, I'll see you later, I have to get back on field." I waved him a goodbye as he walked off to his sport car, which I totally almost drooled over.
The whistle blew, and I ran after the ball stealing it from another player and heading to the goal. "Over here!" My team member yelled, I ignored and kept running.
I kicked the ball, and it react to my force and shot into the net.
"GOAL!!!!" My father scream with joy, everyone laughed.
"You did good, Daniela." He pat my head.
"It's Dash." I corrected him to my nickname.
When I got home I changed and landed on my bed, with my phone besides me.
Dash, baby, where are you.- Leo
I just got home from practice, what's up
Nothing I was just checking up on u- Leo
Well stop checking up on me and get a life :P
"Dash, get down here!" My father yelled from downstairs, what could he possibly want.
"What's up dadyo." I greeted as I grabbed an Apple out his hand.
"Your mother, is coming down for a week. And I know, she's gonna ask you the big question, I just want you to know that...when your a soccer champion, you get more money than a business women."
My head fell back with a huge laugh escaping my mouth. I could tell he was confused and that just made me laugh harder.
"Sorry to burst your bubble, but, I'm not taking over anyone's business or title."
He raised an eyebrow, his face went blank mixed with emotions.
"If you won't, then your children will." He said taking the apple from me.
"I won't let you abuse my children into doing something they don't like." I took the apple back.
I swear sometimes he was worst than Leo.
"They'll love it, they have to." He made an attempt to take my apple, and I draw back and got up from my seat.
"No, they won't." I headed back upstairs still eating my apple.
"Daniela McKenzie Johnson, get back here." he demanded
At least someone who actually makes me happy is gonna be here soon. God knows how much I missed her, I wish I could travel with her, even stick with her like a magnet. I remember when I was young, and the night before my mom came, I would sleep early so the day would come faster. I would do anything for her, we always had that mother daughter love between us.
