After half an hour of reminicing and catching up, we left with the tip on the table and on our way back home to get ready for dinner.

I ran upstairs to my room and planted myself in my closet searching for something decent to wear.

To be honest, I didn't know why the hell I was so nervous, it's not like I was wanting my parents to approve of Ian, in fact I could care less what they thought.

I finally found a blue cocktail dress, that's been in there for years. I never really wear dresses, rarely only on special occasion.

I rested the dress on the bed and headed for the bathroom to run the water. The clocked ticked, 7:45, I jumped in the tub and scrubbed until I literally looked squeaky clean.

I heard the doorbell rang from downstairs, with that, I rushed back into my room and slipped my dress on with a pair of sneakers, I tied my hair back, away from my face and did a little check up in the mirror.

As I walked downstairs, Ian eyes immediately caught mines. I took a seat next to him and gave him a smile.

"Hey gorgeous." He whispered in my ears leaving me with a tingle down my spine.

My mom cooked us, lasagna and some of her special parmesan-covered spaghetti. It was a mouth watering sight, and trust me, it tasted as good as it look. Ian and I helped ourselves to second's.

"Wow, Mary-Anne, that tasted amazing." Ian's mother, Erica, stated resting her fork on the empty plate. Of course my mother smiled with pride, her and Erica was going to get along just right. On the other hand, my dad nearly spoke to, Owen, Ian's dad. Knowing my dad he was probably making Ian's death wish, just for sitting next to me.

A hand rested on my thigh ceasing all of my thoughts. I looked at Ian sheepishly as he smirked, and moved his hand above my thigh. Good Lord, what was he doing?!? How badly I wanted to slap him.

"Excuse me as I get a drink." I jumped from my seat and went in the kitchen. As told, I went to drink a glass of water and cool down a little. I took couple deep breaths as I prepared to go back to my seat.

"Are you okay, you look shocked." Erica asked, I nodded reassuringly.

"Honey, why don't you show Ian your room." My mom suggested, I glared at her almost pleading her to change her mind. My dad was glaring at my mother, then back at me.

"We'll be in the living room talking." She shooed me and Ian upstairs. I rolled my eyes at her remarks and walked into my room. I dropped onto the bed with my head planted to the pillow.

"Nice room gorgeous." He stated sitting next to me.

"What the hell was that all about, in the dining room?" I almost yelled.

"You looked nervous so I was helping you come down." A smirk landed on his face his blue eyes level with mines.

"Your acting like you didn't like it." He added. His head was so up his ass right now I had no other choice but to let out a small laugh.

"Yeah right, as if walking away didn't signal displeasure good enough for you."

He ignored my statement, "So what's up with that, Leo DiCaprio, wannabe ex boyfriend of yours." He asked.

A laugh escaped from my mouth at the nickname he gave Leo.

"Nothing really, we're just friends at the moment." I answered through my chuckles.

"Well good, I don't need him getting in the way." He said proudly. What made him so full of himself? I don't even know, the guy just met me, and is acting like he's 'head over heels' for me.

"Getting in the way of what exactly?"

"In the way of me and you." His smiled lit up the room with his bright white teeth.

"There is no me-and-you dude, I'm a free spirit." I waved my hand signalling a ghost. To be honest, I wasn't really interested in being in another relationship for a while, especially not one with that ass named Ian.

Okay, so this is just a filler, next chapter is probably going to have Leo's POV or something else I don't really know yet. But thanks for reading :)
