My Only Girl

Chapter 10

Y/n's POV

Hustle and bustle of few people around me made me feel sick in my stomach....my body is paining...I merely can feel my body and my heart is beating relentlessly,almost thumping against my chest rapidly...I don't know why but my surroundings irritate me...
I slowly open my eyes.... extreme tubelight blinding my sight for a split of seconds and soon I recovered my vision...and also my memory came back like a high speed bullet train...

No...no.,, something is wrong...
Why this man in white overcoat is approaching me with his hands extended towards my chest??....

N-NOOOOO!!

I screamed...but suddenly somebody took a hold of my hand and said...

"Shh...I am there for you... nobody's gonna hurt you...I promise"

Taehyung POV

I quickly called the doctor and they checked her up....as they were running a few check ups, she slowly opened her eyes.... squinting them at first due to room's tubelight.

A mix of emotions were written all over her face....Agony, confusion,fear,pain...it was quite difficult to understand what she was feeling...
But suddenly, her eyebrows frowned and complete dread got painted on her face...she started scooting away from the doctor as he was nearing his hands towards her with stethoscope to check her heart beat and tears started welling up in her eyes...it dreaded me...her state broke me up...

Suddenly she screamed with complete terror to stop the doctor from touching her and loud pants and deep breaths started leaving from her mouths...her petite figure started trembling with fear and her face turned completely red and puffy from crying....

She was afraid of doctors....I knew what she felt...she still remembered those inhuman creatures....she was afraid that they were going to hurt her...

I quickly went to the side of her bed and held her right hand, giving it a small squeeze to calm her down and let her know she is safe...

I softly said to her"Shh...I am there for you... nobody's gonna hurt you...I promise" reassuring her not to worry.
Taking my left hand to her back and slowing circling it to soothe her down....I whispered sweet nothings in her ears and slowly motioned the doctors to run their remaining check ups...
Thankfully they made it quick and by the time it ended.... Y/n was taking peaceful breaths in my arms...her head resting on my chest...but I knew she was thinking about something,deeply....
As her eyes were stick to a particular place of the room,as if she was zoning out...but she was completely cool and calm...

My soothing process did actually worked to calm her down....from seeing her state that time...it seemed like she was having a panic attack sort of something....

Doctors nodded at me reassuring me that everything was fine....and motioned that they would like to have a talk later on...

I gave a nod of agreement...with that they left...

She was strangely silent and it was giving me a kick to say something to her...

"Y/n..." I softly called her name.
"Y/n..."

I waited for her response.

"Y/n...are you listening??"
I asked getting a bit worried.

"Huh...!?!". She got startled and I felt sorry...
"Oops...I didn't meant to scare you...I am sorry....umm...how are you feeling now..?" I asked patiently and softly.
She was looking directly into my eyes maintaining an eye contact as if trying to see something through them....it confused me...
Suddenly her lower lip started quivering and before I could understand something or do...she bursted out crying miserably in my arms....her figure getting continuous jerks with each heavy sob that left from her trembling lips...she hugged me tightly and buried her face in my chest....soaking it with her tears...I can't help but cry silently too holding her in my arms to support her and avoid her from falling off the bed....
She was broke... completely broke...her each sob felt like as if it was stabbing my heart....for the first time in my life... someone else was hurt...but I was feeling the pain...

Her sudden talking made me startled and I quickly rubbed my tears away...I couldn't show my this side to her....I have never showed to anyone actually....since my parents left me....

"Why,why...why..why....Why ME?!.... what had I done wrong to them?!....just why?!...I swear to god I had never hurt anyone in my entire life yet....but t-then also G-god chos-se me to get h-hurt...never in a m-mill-ion time I had thought something like this would ever happen with me-me....I f-eel d-disgusted of my-yself....they hurted me...they as-saulted me...tried to f-Force me...touc-ched me-ee...but then why the hell i-i fe-el d-disgusted of my-self....i shouldn't...*hiccup*I want to s-scratch*hiccup* myse-lf...ple-ase...ple-ase....he-lpp me...ple-ase stop i-it...i-i...I...I.." she was screaming at the top of her lungs but soon she started getting unconscious because of her stress and started drowning in my arms....

"Hey..hey...y/n...open your eyes...open your eyes...are you ok?!!.please...I swear I will not let those inhuman creatures live on this earth...they will get their destined punishment....I am there for you and I swear on the name god....I will protect you...from now on... nobody will ever be able to hurt you... not a single scratch also..."

"Taehyung...." She said weakly....gazing towards me with a small smile on her face...
"Hmm?" I asked softly...
"You were there....right?...I had seen you through my blurry vision at the time..."
"Yess...I was there and you know what....you won't believe...I beated them to their death....until they started begging for mercy and I only stopped when the police came and arrested them....but you know...it was quite hilarious to see them...they all were jumping and running for help here and there like monkeys and chimpanzees...to save their lives...."
She laughed a little on my remark but soon her demeanor changed and turned into a emotional one...
"Taehyung... thank you for savin-..."
"No...not a single word anymore...you don't need to thank me for this....how inhuman I would have been if had I not saved you from them...but I request you to not to remember about them or that day.... sometimes its good for us only to forgot those things that hurt us in Many ways and worsens our present....and ruins our future too...I am more than thankful to God that atleast you are sitting here and talking with me....I couldn't ask for anything more from God except for your health improvement....do you consider me as a stranger or friend...huh?..."
"I-i am sorry for making you feel like that...forgi-"
I shushed her and attached our foreheads...

"YOU ARE WITH ME....you are SAFE..."
