Chapter 26

Y/n POV

Daegu is one of the largest cities in South Korea, and coupled with its rich and ancient culture, it has a number of scenic attractions and beautiful mountains. As our train neared to Daegu, more picturesque mountains and forestry areas started to come in our sight, I couldn't help but stare through the glass window, registering scenic beauty before my eyes, unaware of the sounds of camera-clicking coming from beside me.
After we stepped down at the platform of Daegu Station, a cab was already waiting for us at the exit and took us to a Restaurant that Taehyung had pre-booked for our lunch.
We went to La Salud, a hamburger restaurant... Taehyung informed me that this restaurant was his one of the favourites restaurant he used to come to have many meals at, when he lived here during his high school life. Apparently, I got to know that Taehyung loves hamburger. We ordered Mac N Cheese, french fries and his favourite Pork Belly burger whilst I opted for American Style Double Cheeseburger. As we talked while eating our lunch, Taehyung poured me with more information regarding Daegu and it's culture and his early years of life he spent in this beautiful and vibrant city.
We decided to check-in the hotel which Taehyung had booked for our stay in Daegu, cuz I was feeling way too exhausted after the journey and surely my back needs some rest for a awhile , so Taehyung agreed with me in assertive, however we bickered at the reception because I was adamant to pay equally for the hotel room's charge and he was reluctant not to let me pay for the same....at last, he won anyway.

Time Skip

It's almost mid afternoon now, and sun is still shining brightly to its fullest... I've just came out from an hour long shower, and drying my hair with a towel, while whistling an unknown tune looking at myself in the mirror. Tiredly, I plop myself on the bed on my back, my leg hanging at the edge of the bed as my head turned towards the big glass shielded wall, through which I can see a overlook of Daegu from like top of the sky. I was about to head to my backpack to look for pyjamas when suddenly loud banging on the door of my room stopped me on my tracks from walking further more. Who can it be?
Without giving so much of sense to it, I went to the door and swing open the door only to see a tensed Taehyung at the door.
He seemed to be in hurry more than tensed, as he tried to avoid eye contact with me...
"What happened TaeTae??" I asked worriedly.
"Umm...a-actually...we need to go for shopping urgently..."
"For what??" I asked while looking at him confused of his behaviour.
"We just need to... you'll see...get ready fast, I'll be waiting for you at the hotel's ground lobby...hmm??" He said hurriedly not even sparing a glance at me as he turned on his heels and shut the door of his room behind him.
I wonder, why was he trying to avoid eye contact??
I closed the door of my room perplexed, as I dragged myself on my feet to my backpack placed on the couch but on my way, I suddenly stopped abruptly on my heels...as the sudden thought rush through my mind, and I quickly ran to the mirror only to let out a squeak in shock and bury my face in my palms in pure embarassment, as I felt like screaming in frustration and embarassment pouring through me...I want MotherEarth to swallow me alive right now and right here...
Agh!!!...why the hell did I went to open the door only wearing a...
Bathrobe?
No wonder, why he was so hella flushed then...how am I gonna face him now??
Feeling exaggeratedly stupid, I groaned crashing on the bed face flat, as I let the overwhelming flusteredness wash through me...for god's sake, I'm doomed.

Walking reluctantly through the lobby of the hotel, I timidly wandered my eyes around to look for Taehyung, while fumbling with the sling of my side purse nervously.
Soon, I got a sight of him, standing by an aquarium while talking on his cellphone as he waved me to come towards him, calling out my name barely audible to my ears due to the bustling of people around me, however I understood it by the movement of his lips...waving him back, I slowly walked up to him, smiling shyly but then my eyes started to become narrow and narrower and then my eyes completely gawked when I noticed that we both were unmistakably wearing same looking clothes...plain white tee with blue denim jeans....can my out of the place situation get anymore worse?...to make things more worsen than they already are...What kind of Wardrobe Malfunction is this??
I quickly changed my gawking expression as I tried to ease my face, to look more convincing as Taehyung was peering at me with confused eyes...he seems not to notice it yet...I coughed nervously as I turned my head everywhere to look at except his face...
"Are you ok??" He asked softly putting a hand on my shoulder.
"Yeah..." I said in small voice still not able to digest the wardrobe coincidence...
" If it's because of earlier today when I had came to your room, to meet you then please don't feel embarassed for such a trivial matter...it happens sometimes, Take a chill pill..." He said as he chuckled sweetly, making my heart melt in seconds.
"Umm...am I that obvious?? That you know what's bothering me??" I asked slightly flushed.
He just smiled a boxy toothy smile as he draped his hands around my shoulder, making me walk out the premises of the hotel along with him...
"You aren't obvious Y/n-ah...it's just that I can read your face very well now..." He said as he didn't made any eye contact with me and swiftly opened the door of the cab that was waiting for us, making me sit inside as he walked to the other side and sat next to me again hugging me by my shoulders...I can't take my eyes off from him since the very time he said that statement to me...I know I'm piercing holes in his body now, but pardon me...I can't help it.
