Chapter 18

Y/n POV

" Yeah....that's good.... you are already doing great Taehyung....well done!!" I said giving him a thumbs up...
He smiled lightly as his all focus was on his work in hand...
Currently, we are in his kitchen that is fully equipped with modern appliances...his kitchen is well furnished and neat and clean...i am sure Miss Min pays  a lot of hard work in maintaining the kitchen....I am trying to teach him how to cook Korean Pan fried Fish( Saeng Sun Jun)....I thought to start with something easy so that he won't loose his interest at the very first time he tries to cook....so currently he was coating the small pieces of fish in flour and afterwards in beaten egg....
But it was rather not easy as it seems to be....cuz Taehyung sucks in cooking more than I had expected him to be....when I told him to beat the eggs with the help of a beater, he followed my instruction but as soon as he switched on the beater, all the egg white got splashed on him.... messing his apron and some part of his face as well....later on when I told him to bring the flour from the nearby drawer,....he gave me a jar and when I poured it on the plate to use...it's colour and texture made me suspicious and when I tasted it to check....it came out to be not flour but instead white powdered sugar...btw his facial expressions were a whole meal.... which he gave me whenever he made a mistake...but I tried to suppress my laugh everytime he did something like that and thank god I made through it every time... otherwise he would have felt discouraged...

" Y/n...it's done...see...what should I do now??!" He said jumping on his feet In excitement like a kid.
I chuckled and said" ok...so now the main part of the recipe....you have to place all these coated fishes on the pan and wait for sometime to let it get a little crispy from one side and then turn it over for the same...got it??" I asked lastly.
"Yes...I got it" he said and again got focused on his work.
He was doing each and every work with so much concentration...biting his tongue in between of his teeth and paying full concern on the fishes...I felt glad that he placed the fishes successfully on the pan.....I smiled to myself.
" Hey shall we also prepare a salad...it will go nice with fishes.... Don't you think so??" He asked.
" Yeah it's a great idea....we can do that..." I said cheerfully.
With that he went to the fridge and brought many vegetables and washed them. Afterwards he placed them on a chopper and took a knife to start the surgery....but alas!!...he missed at the very first attempt as the carrot on which he was going do the surgery slipped out of his hands and fell on the floor...
I chuckled to myself but immediately stopped when he turned to look at me....he tried a few more times but every time failed and I kept him watching standing near the kitchen counter.... finally he turned to look at me and I got the sign through the look of his eyes that he wanted help....
" It's ok Taehyung...it happens...c'mere I will show you how it's done..." I said and consoled him like a mother and held his hand in my hand and  directed him to show how it's actually done...
I was so engrossed in teaching him that I didn't even noticed that we were DANGEROUSLY close and our faces were almost rubbing against each other...when I was finally done showing him how to cut the veggies...I turned to look at him with a smile on my face but got flustered on seeing him already piercing his gaze into me with a sweet smile on his face....I felt butterflies in my stomach on seeing his fondly gaze on me and I gulped....what he was doing to me....will anybody please tell me??

Taehyung POV

She held my hand and pulled me closer to her in order to show how to cut the veggies....I tried to focus on what she was teaching me but I kept getting distracted with the closeness of our face...I couldn't help but stare deeply at her...not knowing my inner feelings...just I wanted to keep on looking at her....let her hold me forever like this... suddenly she turned her face with a gracious smile plastered on her lips....but her expression changed and her lips got slightly parted in surprise and her cheeks flushed with red tint...I guess she was not aware of our close proximity. I was able to hear both of ours heart beats and it felt like they were beating in sync with each other.
She slightly turned her eyelashes down in order to avoid my gaze and looked shy.
I felt my heart skipping millions of beats and I felt myself in the clouds...why was I feeling like this??....but I really liked this feeling...it made me feel overjoyed and timid with ecstasy.
