After one last day of last minute preparations, the coronation was completely ready.
Dream was decorated in a sacred mushroom robe that his father and many generations before had worn on their coronation days, and a white shirt with a dark green vest over it. He wore black cargo-like pants and tall, brown boots.
His wings were extended as he walked up the red carpet and onto the dias where his soon to be chair was placed. An old bishop stood by the chair, a pillow in his hands, the mushroom crown of Kinoko Kingdom's ancestors placed in the middle of it.
George sat in the newly brought in pews of the throne room, smiling as he watched his lover become king in front of his very eyes.
And as Dream turned with his newly placed crown on his fluffy blonde hair towards the awaiting crowd, cheers broke out. Mushroom hats were thrown up in joy and people clapped.
But Dream's eyes were only for George, dressed in beautiful clothes, waving from the very front of the crowd.
–
I suggest listening to 'Looking at Me' by Sabrina Carpenter for this scene. :)
George stood with Dream on the dias, watching the crowd in the now cleared out throne room, converse and feast.
The ceremony had gone wonderfully, and afterwards Dream had announced his relationship with George, which had been received rather well.
Dream felt George suddenly grasp his hand and pull him off the dias towards the crowd, he laughed as the brunette gripped his hand in a dance position.
"Don't just stand there staring, try to move your feet." George said, beginning to swing Dream around in a graceful dance move, Dream falling into step with him as they moved.
Dance moves that Dream had learned in his younger years began to come back to him and he started to lead the brunette trying to hopelessly make up a dance. George gratefully followed, laughing as he was spun by Dream, before beginning being bowed backwards in a dip.
The couples around them gradually began to move away from them, allowing them to be the full center of attention as the night progressed. Dream and George danced till their feet hurt, laughing and joining in with group dances as the music changed.
And when everything had calmed down and been cleaned up and George was in bed with Dream, did he really grasp the sense of how lucky he was. He snuggled closer into Dream's warm chest, the other tightening his grip slightly as the brunette moved.
The chances of him being sent here, out of all the other possible worlds he could've been sent instead were very low.
And he was forever grateful.
Grateful for the happiness that had been brought into his life. Grateful for Kinoko Kingdom and its people, and most of all, grateful for Dream.
The man who loved him, cherished him, and made him feel wanted for once.
George could never thank fate enough as he felt Dream press a tender kiss on the top of his head, could never thank fate enough as he stared out the open balcony, through the red silk curtains, and into the full moon shining graciously from above.
The End.
I'm crying, I love this story so much. I might write an epilogue, but I doubt it. Unless I get a good idea. :D
What y'all think? Yay? Nay?
Also, yes Dream used the name Seb for his disguise name because it reminded him of his father, Sebastian. Ah ha ha, am I right? ;)

Any ideas for a new book? Not sure if I'll start writing right away, but I am full of surprises. I need an original plot tho. :) Just a simple idea I can go off of.
Take care of yourselves.
Why sad? Happy. -G
