Ravenclaw and Slytherin

Y/N POV

Not that long ago, Hogwarts decided to join the common rooms, they said it was for safety reasons so it was easier to round up students in case of a catastrophe, the Gryffindor tower which first was owned to only Gryffindor, now homes both Hufflepuff and Gryffindor in the same common room. And the Ravenclaw tower was now home to both Slytherin and Ravenclaw.

At first, all students were very opposed to it, but it made witches and wizards closer, I say it's an improvement. The original Slytherin and Hufflepuff common rooms got turned into lounges or as the teachers call them, study rooms.

Y/N POV

Albus and Scorpius show me the way to the SlytherClaw common room, it was so regal, it had shades of sapphire blue and emerald green, the second you walked in you were greeted with massive windows, the main fireplace made from different assortments of stone, the marble floor, tall bookshelves, 3 sets of tables and chairs and 4 couches, and personally my two favourite assets of the common room, the rug that was completely round but showed what phase the moon was it, it was truly fascinating, and you can't forget the roof that resembles the night sky, filled with stars, planets and constellations.

I finally felt at home.

I had to resist the urge to go explore the bookshelves, the most important thing I had to do right now, was to find where I would be sleeping, Albus pointed to the girl's dormitory and Scorpius assured me that they would meet me at the door to go down to breakfast together. I waved them goodnight and wandered my way to the girl's dormitory.

There were many doors in the corridor but I had to find one that had my name listed on a mini plaque that was nailed next to the door. I was in door 103. When I walked in there was one Ravenclaw and two Slytherins they all seemed to be getting along well. The girls only noticed me when the door closed behind me, they looked up from each other in my direction, we exchanged stares and silence before one of the girls speaks up. "OMG, YOUR Y/N! WE'VE WAITING FOR YOU!" The enthusiastic Ravenclaw squealed, she jumped off the bed almost falling just to shake my hand, if she kept going my arm would've been out the window for sure.

Surprisingly the girls didn't care who my dad was, well they did to start with, but it didn't bother them once we began talking and giggling. They were all so kind, Lacey Welton was the Ravenclaw, she had wavy black hair and bright hazel eyes and was very tanned. The first Slytherin was Octavia S'ville she had pin-straight and long blonde hair, she also had light brown eyes and blushed skin. the last dorm mate was named Tilly Mills She had short curly dark brown hair and was rather pale, she had the brightest green eyes.

After talking with my dorm mates for ages we decided to go to sleep, I went to the 4 post bed that had my trunk at the foot of it, I took off my satchel and rested it on my bedside table, I changed into my pyjamas and tucked myself into bed falling instantly to sleep.

Y/N POV

I was woken up by Octavia, the other girls were already awake and almost ready for breakfast, Octavia also handed a sheet of parchment which had my classes for the week on it, I quickly got changed and put my needed textbooks in the satchel Hagrid gifted to me, I also brought some books to write in as well as a quill and ink and finally, the piece of parchment. I left my dorm along with the other girls and went down to the common room to meet Scorpius and Albus.

Scorpius was trying to memorise the parchment that had his classes on It, Albus was half asleep on the couch.

Albus opened his eyes and spotted me right away, he hit Scorpius in the arm and he let out a yelp and then met my eyes also, "oh hello! I assume we are all ready to go to breakfast?" Scorpius was rubbing his arm where Albus hit him, who claimed it wasn't that hard but Scorpius wanted to make him feel bad so he kept complaining about how it might fall off.

Y/N POV

I sat with Albus and Scorpius after waving the girls off, to then dig into the mouthwatering breakfast.

"I could get used to this!" I mumble through the food still in my mouth, to which both the blonde and brunette agreed.

We were all happily eating when I felt a tap on my shoulder, "I'd be careful if I were you." It was Rose "you already don't have the most fabulous reputation." She continues now grabbing the attention of the two boys, she sighs at our blank faces "what I'm saying is, you should look out, you probably won't have the easiest time at Hogwarts." And with that she left, I exchanged confused looks with Albus and Scorpius, although Scorpius was in La-La land thinking about Rose from what I could see, "was that a threat or a warning," I ask Albus setting down my food and slightly pushing away the plate, he just shrugs and abandons his food also.

"Once Scorpius is done in his little fantasy world we should start heading to our classes." I agree and look over to the boy practically melting in his seat.
