SCORPIUS POV
She's conscious. But in pain. We're at a train station and I tied my jacket around Y/n's torso until we can get something better to help. She sits down on a bench, very... very uncomfortable. Albus and I join her on either side.

"One of us should talk to him, don't you think?" Albus suggests ."Hello, Mr. Stationmaster. Mr. Muggle. Question: Did you see a flying witch passing here? And by the way, what year is it? We just ran away from Hogwarts because we were frightened of upsetting things, but this is okay?" Albus hangs his head in response.
"You know what annoys me most of all?" Albus starts. Both Y/n and I look to him "Dad will think we did it deliberately." Y/n groans and face palms. "Albus. Don't you think there's other things we should be worrying about right now?" She says, uncomfortable and very unimpressed. "What?" Albus replies confused. "We're trapped, lost, in, time. Probably permanently... Y/n is injured... and you're worrying what your dad might think about it? I will never understand the two of you." I say crossing my arms, Y/n shaking her head. "There's a lot to understand. Dad's pretty complicated." Albus shrugs. "And you're not? Not to question your taste in women, but you fancied... well..." I stop talking. all three of us knew exactly who I was implying. "I did, didn't I? I mean, what she did to Lacey... " Y/n reacts to her name, heartbroken. "Let's not talk about that, please." She says. "Sorry... lets focus on the fact that we have no wands, no brooms, no means of returning to our time. All we have is our wits and... no, that's all, our wits... and we have to stop her." I say.

"Ye ken th' auld reekie train is running late, kids?" The station master with a thick Scot's accent approaches us. We all give him a confused look. "Sorry?" I say. He sighs and continues. "If you're waiting oan th' auld reekie train, you'll need tae ken it's running late. Train wirks oan th' line. It's a' oan th' amended time buird."
He looks at us, we look back incredibly confused. He frowns and hands us an amended timetable. He points to the right bit of it. Late.

Y/n curses under her breath. She's accepted defeat. Albus grabs the timetable and the gentlemen's walks away. "I know where she is." Albus tells us.

Y/N POV
"Did either of you understand a word of that?..." I say, then it sinks in what Albus said. "Wait what?" I say. Albus sits on a bench, Scorpius and I sit either side. "Look, the date." He points to the date on the time table. "The 30th of October, 1981. Day before Hallows' Eve, thirty-nine years ago. But... why is she? Oh." Scorpius says, his face falls. My hand darts to my mouth in shock, realisation hits all of us. "The death of my grandparents. The attack on my dad as a baby... The moment when Voldemort's curse rebounded on himself. She's not trying to bring about her prophecy, she's trying to prevent the big one." Albus says. Scorpius takes the timetable examining every little detail "The big one?" I ask.
Albus nods. "The one with the power to vanquish the Dark Lord approaches..." Albus starts "...born to those who have thrice defied him..." Both boys say together. "...born as the seventh month dies..." I join in. I plonk my head in my hands, only to wince at the pain from my back, Albus rests a hand on my shoulder to comfort me. "It's my fault." Scorpius says, both Albus and I look in confusion. "I told her that prophecies can be broken. I told her the whole logic of prophecies is questionable..." He's cut off my Albus... of course. "In twenty-four hours' time Voldemort curses himself trying to kill the baby Harry Potter. Delphi is trying to prevent that curse. She's going to kill Harry herself. We need to get to Godric's Hollow. Now" Albus darts up from the bench staring at both Scorpius and I.

"How?" Scorpius asks helping me up. "By foot. we need to go now. Like now now. Like life or death now now." Albus says starting to speed walk. Even walking hurts my back at this point. I'm so used to the pain I can start to ignore it, but only for so long. I'm trying to keep up but it's so difficult. I manage the entire way there.

"Well nothing looks... damaged... no one appears to be in danger..." I say. Godric's Hollow is absolutely beautiful at this time. "This is Godric's Hollow?" Albus asks. Scorpius nods "Your dad's never taken you?" Now scorpius asks. "No, he tried to a few times but I refused."
"We can reschedule the tour, right now we need to focus on the murderous witch on the loose who, quick reminder, whats to ruin the whole world." I say. "But for now: The Church, St. Jerome's..." Scorpius smiles gesturing to the church. "It's magnificent." Albus sighs, this may be the first time he's actual slightly at peace. "And St. Jerome's graveyard is supposedly magnificently haunted." Scorpius points to the graveyard. "Scorpius." I warn, trying to hint we don't have time for this, "And that's where the statue of Harry and his parents will be..." This pricks up Albus' ears. "My dad has a statue?"
"Not yet. But he will. Hopefully. If this all goes to correct." I tell him. "And this, this house is where Bathilda Bagshot lived, lives..." Scorpius says. "Scorpius, as much as I love this tour, we have no time." I tell him. "The Bathilda Bagshot? A History of Magic Bathilda Bagshot?" Albus asks, I groan knowing damn well we wont be making much progress if this continues. "The very same. Oh my, that's her. Wow. My geekness is a-quivering." I chuckle, I cant lie, it's nice seeing my friends not freak out. "Scorpius!" Albus says seemingly happy, "And here it is..." Scorpius sighs, "The home of James, Lily, and Harry Potter..." Albus says in a twin of a sigh. And almost on cue. A young, attractive couple leave a house with a baby in a pushchair. Albus slowly moves towards them but I quickly pull him back but the sleeve of his jacket. "They can't see you..." I tell him. "Albus, it might damage time, and we're not doing that... not this time." Scorpius adds. "But this means, she hasn't... We've made it... She hasn't..." I nod aggressively as if to say 'no way, really, thanks captain obvious.'
"So what do we do now? Get ready to fight her? Because she's pretty... Fierce." Scorpius says. "Yes. We haven't really thought this one through, have we?" Albus taps his temples. "I've noticed we dont think many of our plans through... we should really start doing that..." I say both boys nod. "So what do we do now? How do we protect my dad?" Albus asks us.
