The next day, I meet up with Thalia at her bus stop which is only a little longer of a walk than mine. Once at school we talk at our lockers. She tells me all the 411 on all the people at our school.

"There's James and Riley." She says, pointing at the same couple i saw on the bus. "They're the school's hottest couple. Nobody dares come in between their relationship, even though half the girls in school have a crush on James."

"Then there is Max. Caption of the football team, but very quiet." She explains.

"Oh and there's Tess and Daniel. They scare the crap out of everyone in this school. People say that Daniel once threatened some kid. It scared him so bad that he moved to germany!" She laughed.

Thalia went over a list of students until she mentioned a name that I reconized. It was Hunter's.

"And there's Hunter." She said. He was walking down the hallway, two blonde girls attached to his arm, smiling like idiots. "And that is Emily and Michelle. They practically worship him. Hunter's not the type of guy you talk to."

"Why not? I talked to him yesterday and he seemed completley fine?!" I ask.

"I don't know he just, leads you on. He makes you feel important and then lets you down. He's like that jerk that you see in movies."

I nodd my head, but I'm still disapointed.

"Also speaking of Emily and Michelle, don't talk to them either. They're the ultimate dumb blondes. they always gossip and spread rumours. It's best not to get involved so you don't get on their bad sides." She tells me. I take mental notes.

"They also obsess over Hunter. As much as I despise him, the poor guy, he can't catch a break. Though I'm sure he doesn't mind all this attention from two pretty girls." We laugh, and then the bell rings to go to class.

I go to my next class, which is math. My teacher's name is Mrs. Spinelli and she's probably my favourite teacher so far.

Of course Hunter is in my class. I'm the last person to enter and the only seat left is next to him. I hesitate, but then sit.

Half-way through math, Hunter leans over and passes me a crumpled piece of paper.

I uncrumple it and there's a note that reads;
Party on sat. U and Thalia want 2 go?

He must not get good grades in english.

I pass back the note with a reply saying sure. He reads it, puts it in his pocket and then winks at me.

I get a warm feeling inside from it, but then pinch my arm, remembering what Thalia told me. I can't talk to a guy like that.
