"Where to?" Hunter asks, as i buckle my seatbelt.
"I don't know it's your car." I reply.
"C'mon I'm trying to be a gentlemen."
"Fine. Honestly I'm hungry. I skipped dinner, to get ready for this party."
With that he checks himself out in the mirror, and then starts driving. We stop at a McDonalds. He pulls up to the drive through and orders more food than i expected. We leave with 5 bags, filled with burgers, fries, and nuggets.
"Where are we going to eat this stuff?!" I ask.
"I was thinking my place." I give him an odd look. "Don't worry I'm not trying to do anything, my parents are home."
I feel a little bit more relieved, but still kinda uncomfortable with the idea of being in a boy's house. Despite being cautious, I go along with it.
We get to his house, and he takes me up to his room. For a boy, it's very organized and tidy. His bedroom walls are white, with posters of bands, and girls plastered all over them.
"Do you want to borrow one of my shirts?" he asks, "That dress looks uncomfortable." I nodd and he tosses me one out of his dresser. It smells nice, like colonge.
Luckily, i put black shorts on under my dress before the party, in fear of everyone seeing my butt. Once I change, Hunter turns on a movie and we start eating.
The movie becomes more of a background noise as we talk. He asks me how I like it here in california, what my old school was like and typical questions like that.
Suddenly he pulls out his phone and points it at me. "Say cheese!" He says. Without thinking, I throw up a peace sign and smile.
"What's your instagram username?" Hunter asks.
"You're not going to post that are you?!" I cry.
"Already did." He says then smirks.
"You're gonna pay!" I say.
I pick up two uneaten burgers, one in each hand. I begin to chase him arounf the room, threatning to stain his white tank top.
"Amanda this is new!" He yells.
"That's unfortunate, isn't it pretty boy?" I laugh.
After awhile, we get tired and start to watch the movie, just as the credits start.
"You're a cool girl Amanda." He tells me.
"You're a cool guy." I smile.
