I remember when I was in 1st grade, I had a crush on this Kid. His name was Levi Turner. I remember sitting outside in my yard during summer. Plucking petals off of flowers one by one, saying;
"He loves me, he loves me not, he loves me, he loves me not..."
Until I came to the conclusion that he either loved me or he didn't.

This time the question was different. The question that never seemed to leave my mind, was whether or not I loved him. After that lunchtime spent in Hunter's arms, things changed.

I knew I couldn't stay away from him, but could I possibly bear being just friends? Whatever feelings I had for Hunter, I could never act upon.

"Amanda? Amanda?!" Thalia says, and I'm brought out of my daze.
"What?" I say.
"What do you think of these flowers, for my mom's birthday?" She asks.
"They're fine, can we go now?"
She shakes her head, then picks up some flowers and pays.

After we exit the flower shop, we part ways and I decide to go home.

On my walk home I get a text from Hunter.
It reads:
"Meet me at the park by my house!"

Whatever this is, I'm a little nervous.

It takes me about 10 minutes to show up at the park. Hunter is sitting on one of the swings waiting for me. He waves for me to come over, and I do so.

"Why did you ask me to come over here?" He asks.
"I have a surprise."
He takes my hand and leads me to a picnic under a tree.

"Hunter this is amazing!" I'm in awe.
"This isn't a date though right?" I ask.
"No just two friends hanging out." He winks at me.

"Why did you set this up?" I ask, between bites of the chips and dip Hunter brought.
"I told you, I'm going to prove that I can change."
I smile.

"Let's do something fun!" I say after awhile.
"Like what?" Hunter asks.
"Like pulling a prank!" I suggest.

He agrees and we think of possible victims, and pranks.

Hunter somehow found out that Tess and Daniel would be at the convience store across the street and we discover our perfect opportunity.

Hunter and I wait on both sides of the entrance of the store. We both are armed with buckets filled with water, and are prepared to run at any given moment.

We finally hear the ding of the door opening and I shout "Now!" We both soak Tess and Daniel with water, and immediatly drop the buckets and run as fast as we can.

The two run after us, both steaming angry, and all we can do is laugh.

Finally we lose them, and collapse to the ground. We both look each other in the eyes, still catching our breath.

And then he presses his soft lips against my own. Once it's happening, I know this kiss is long overdue.
