85: Blink Away?

The lonesomeness surrounded by these four walls gave the illusion that it was seconds away shrinking down, tightening it down as if the world is nothing but a pale white wall with nothing but compression.

Not even in his head.

Everything is empty; tight, blank and a cold emptiness.

"K-Karma?" Taehyung shudders, leaning his head against the wall with the straight jacket wrapped around his body, shivering to the cold of the room despite his clammy skin coated in sweat, "Come back.... Please.... Come back. I promise I w-will listen t-to you.... Just come b-back for your l-little one please I-I'm begging you."

He never did.

Karma.... Karma is no where.

And Taehyung is slow long giving up hope, but he doesn't want to.

"I j-just need you to hold me again, yeah?" Taehyung's eyes are now pooling in tears and he squeezes his eyes shut with wobbling lips, "Just one more time and I'll let you go..... Please..... I-I'm so lonely and c-confused. You promised to always protect me... Where are you??"

And so Taehyung completely breaks apart himself.

He leans himself against his knees, crying his sorrow heart for the absence of his other half, the one who always protected him and guided him and shield him from the world. Who never made him feel lonely.

His Karma.

Where's his Karma?

".......Time..... Sleep...."

Taehyung shifts his head around the second he heard that, looking to see where that unfamiliar voice came from.

It wasn't from the nurse..... The door didn't open...

Taehyung shivers, scrunching his body together in fear, "Uh...... Hello?"

"..... D-Dissociating..... Sleep."

Suddenly Taehyung is met with everything black, just when the nurse came in.

The male nurse looks over at the patient with the needle in a gloved hand, approaching for the daily dose, "You know, you have a bed for a reason?"

The patient smiles gleefully at him, crossing their legs on the ground, "Sorry, the floor just seems so comfortable."

The nurse only shakes his head and crouches down beside them, wiping the familiar spot on the neck, "You seem much more cheerful than usual."

"Oh sweetheart don't be fooled, I'm crying a river inside," And they flinched when the needle sticked to the neck, injecting.

It's almost as if Taehyung floods back to consciousness from his amnesia state, furrowing his eyebrows in confusion to what just happened and he jumps when he notices the nurse near him.

"Well let's hope you keep this up. Maybe your court case won't be so bad, and I'll see you here more often," He winks and walks across the room, out the door.

Leaving Taehyung completely confused.
