"Have a goodnight boss!"

Hoseok swings his hoodie over his body, waving at Wooyoung behind the register from the door with a beaming smile, "Good luck kid, see you tomorrow!"

Tonight has been a very hectic day as it is. The Rainbow Café that Hoseok owned has been extremely busy today with college students, who were going through their struggles of exam week. Hoseok remembers those days of sleepless nights and coffee being his best friend to keep him awake. Thankfully that all pulled off and he was able to open up a small cute café in town, watching as it slowly grew popularity within time.

The night tonight is warm, decently warm, yet Hoseok still drank his coffee as a force of habit as he listened to music from his earphones, getting lost to this scenery of the dim lights of the lamp post with the decent city buildings creating a pathway.

This is what Hoseok loves about working in the city; being surrounded by this moment of lights in the dimmest darkness of the night.

What he enjoyed mostly about this is going to the park, that he always has to walk through in order to get to the other side to reach his apartment. The park itself is very calming. There's a few runners and bikers here and there that would occasionally appear yet it's so peaceful to walk here.

Hoseok was in the midst of getting lost in a few dance steps of his own to the music, a small smile on his lips as he yearns to finally get home and watch a movie, just to relax for a while.

However he stops moving when he sees a small body curled up on the bench, hands to their face with raven hair serving as a coat to conceal the person's face. Hoseok was just going to continue walking but he sees the body shake slightly, almost as if they're cold.

For a moment Hoseok debated over his next move but ended up removing an ear phone and approaches the small body, "Uh.... Hi?"

The body didn't move for a moment, but they must've heard Hoseok because they did tense up so suddenly. Hoseok then was able to hear their faint sniffling, even their soft whimpering as if they're trying to hold back their tears.

Hoseok's heart weighed too heavy in his chest to leave now, so he sits beside the body, slowly raising a hand to their knee, "Hey-"

"GET AWAY FROM ME!" The boy suddenly snaps, slapping Hoseok's hands away from his body as he finally looks up.

All of Hoseok's breath faded away.

The boy's face is swollen and blotchy with tears. His eyes are such a painful red, eyes filled with pools of an endless ocean of his sadness. Hoseok didn't know if it was from the way the boy snarl his teeth at him in anger or how his gaze held so much hurt that made him stay, all he knew was they he didn't want to leave him like this.

No one deserves to be alone when they're hurt.

"I'm sorry," Hoseok whispers, retreating his hand back on his lap, watching with a frown as the raven haired boy buries his face back to his knees, "Are you okay?"

He expected for the other to not answer, and he didn't of course.

So Hoseok thought of another technique to approach this, "Well.... Let me tell you about how my day went," He says, bringing his knees to his chest as well, eyes moving over the park with a peaceful smile on his face, "I own a coffee shop just a few blocks away, the Rainbow Café, I'm not sure if you've heard of it. Today was so busy, many costumers came in-"

"Why are you still here?" The male suddenly asks, making Hoseok pause, "I don't need a fucking therapy session."

Hoseok purses his lips, slowly looking at the boy who still didn't show his face, "Well I didn't ask you about what's wrong with you. Maybe I need someone to talk to."
