Chapter 14

Tobias POV

We are doing a group Softball game. Everyone looks at the girls.

"What?" Tris says.

"We can take you." Will says. Me and Zeke turn and glare at him. "What were all baseball players, we can take these girls."

"These aren't just girls. These are our girls and they'll kick our ass." I say shoving him.

"No, Will you think you can take us, then lets play." Christina says smirking at him.

"If we win, you have to do what we say for a whole day." Will says pointing at all of us guys.

"And the same goes for us." Shauna says smirking.

"Babe, can you get my water." Tris says pointing to the dugout. I kiss her cheek and jog over and get.

"You're not supposed to do anything for her yet." Will complains.

"Oh yeah, can I change teams?" I say standing by Tris. She pushes me over to the guys laughing. "I don't want to loose." I whine. Tris kisses my cheek.

"You bat first, we'll take the field." Tris say brushing my hand with hers. Before she can leave I grab her hand. I turn her around and she looks at giggling. "I'll go easy I promise." I kiss her let her go. The boys say I can go first. I reluctantly go up to bat. I stand in the batters box and wait for a strike. The first pitch comes in and I decide to take it. I swing as fast I can. I hear the ball hit the bat and I drop it and run. While I am running I hear a scream. I know that scream I have heard it before. I stop dead in my tracks. I look over and see Tris on the ground clutching her face.

"Shit!" I scream running over to her. I kneel down and look at her. Nothing but huge gasps. No tears, a little blood, but she seems fine. She looks up at me. I wipe the dirt from her face and she laughs.

"Damn, Eaton you can hit." She says giggling.

"Obviously not hard enough, it didn't even leave a dent on you." I say helping her up.

"So you wanted to hit me." She says laughing.

"No, but your just hard headed." I say kissing her cheek. I start to walk away and she says

"Wait" I turn and look at her. "Kiss me" She says pouting. I jog over to here and kiss her quickly. I jog to first base and motion for the game to go on. Everyone looks at Tris in amazement. Will comes up and hits a pot fly to Tris, I take a huge leap off first ready to go two when I see Tris running toward me. She hits me in the arm with her glove.

"Your out." She says laughing.

"I love you." I say walking away. I know she is smiling.

7 innings later all of guys are sitting on the bench in the dugout watching the girls dance around because they beat us my 23. Tris looks at me and smirks.

"My face hurts can we go home." She says taking my hand. I nod and stand. I kiss her cheek and grab our stuff. Tris starts getting the water and Gatorade. I throw the stuff in the car and run back to Tris. I pick her up and stand her on the bench. I turn around and she jumps up on my back. She whispers in my ear

"Your sexy in uniform." I chuckle and keep walking. I set her down and open the door for her. She gets in and I close the door. I walk around and get in.

"Does your face hurt?" I ask turning and looking at her.

"No." She says laughing "I just wanted to leave and go home with you." She says raising her eyebrows.

"Baby I'm sorry." I say looking down. She lifts my face and I look at her. I see love and happiness in her eyes.

"I love you so much." She says before kissing me. She pulls away. "Lets get married." She says looking into my eyes.

"Babe, I already asked you that." I say laughing.

"No, this weekend. You, me, our friends. Married." She says shocking me.

"What?" I say confused.

"I want to be an Eaton. I want to be your Eaton. So I call the pastor, get a white dress from the mall, and you and the guys have tux's from the school dance." She says smiling.

"Where, when, and how soon." I say leaning closer to her.

"Here, 11, Saturday." She says looking into my eyes.

"Here?" I ask.

"I've always wanted to get married on a softball or baseball field." She says smiling.

"Ok, were getting married." I say then kiss her.
