Chapter 21

Tris POV

Its been 2 months since Tobias left. I get to see him soon and I am so excited. We talk every night and every morning. Or well my night is his Morning and my morning is his night.

"Hello Beautiful." Tobias says.

"Hi there, super star baseball guy." I say quietly not wanting to wake Riley.

"Or the best Husband ever." He says jokingly.

"I don't know, you did leave me." I say laughing a little. "I'm just joking. Hi there babe." I say when he doesn't respond.

"So what did you do today." He says.

"Um, got up early with Riles, and then a lot of nothing with her." I say nodding my head a little.

Tobias POV

"Well that's good." I say laughing a little. Then I hear a cry.

"Tobias, one second I have to go make sure she is ok." Tris says. I love hearing her be that protective mom. If only I could see it. She sets the phone down and I just listen.

"Hey baby girl, whats wrong. You know what I think you are just so tired you don't want to go to sleep. Which means when you do your gonna sleep for a while. So yay for me." I chuckle a little. "Riley, calm down. Guess what. I am talking to your daddy, and he misses you very much." I hear Riley make a noise. "Yes he does. He misses and loves you so much. You look so much like him, it's crazy. It makes this separation harder on me. Yep, you have his eyes and nose. You have his chuckle, and his big goofy smile. Yeah and you fall asleep, in the middle of something just like him." I hear just some shuffling for a second. "Sorry, she is being really fussy today."

"That's ok." I choke out. I feel a tear slip down my cheek. I miss them so much.

"Tobias." Tris says. "What's wrong?" Even over the phone she knows that I am hurting.

"I miss you. It hurts to not wake up with you beside me. Or to see her. I feel like such a horrible husband and father. I shouldn't have left." I say crying now.

"Tobias, don't say that. You are the best husband ever. I couldn't ask for anything better because it is impossible. You are an amazing father. You had to do this. So stop. We will see you soon. I love you and I miss you. I have to go. I love you so much." She responds.

"I love you too. Kiss her for me." I say and then I hear her laugh.

"Ok will do. Good morning Tobias."

"Good night Tris." Then the line goes dead. I know what I need to do.

Tris POV

We- me and Riley- are at Zeke and Uriah's for a Truth or Dare party. They insisted I come and bring Riley. All the girls have been all over her. She is in her 'Daddy said I was the cutest batter ever' Onesie with a tutu on that is yellow and looks like a softball.

"Chris, T or D" Zeke says.

"T"

"What is your favorite activity right now." He says raising his eyebrows looking at Will.

"Playing with Riley." She says laughing. Will puts his hand over his heart looking hurt.

"Tris."

"Truth." I say looking at Shauna who has Riley.

"If you could have any wish what would it be?" She asks. I look at her confused.

"For, T-Four to come home." I say.

A/N: Yeah yeah yeah, For Four. Ha ha ha.

"I dare you to open that door." She says smirking.

"I said truth." I say whining a little.

"Just do it." She says. I get up and open the door. Someone jumps out.
