Omega verse.

       Shade was out in the woods chopping wood for his bonfire. The smell of the forest was always one he enjoyed. Being a wolf he loved nature. He gathered up the split logs putting his axe on his back. He walked to his lodge picking up an odd scent. It smelled like an omega in distress. He shrugged as it was none of his business. Omegas often went through his land. He had no quarrel with them. But when he picked up a second smell he set down the split logs looking in the direction the smell came from. He smelled another alpha. in the same direction as the smell of distressed omega. He began walking that direction. There were clear markers telling other alphas to stay out. Any omegas that chose to stay were under his protection and any passing.

   He soon found the source in a clearing. A barely out of fledgling owl and a weasel. The weasel was clearly trying to take advantage of the owl which pissed shade off. The owl was clearly in some sort of heat maybe even jsut pre heat and clearly was not comfortable. shade snuck up behind the disgusting weasel putting a hand on his shoulder. The weasel quickly looked up fear in his eyes. Wolves were far more powerful then weasels. And far more violent. More aggressive. "if you wish to keep that skull intact I'd suggest getting off my land," he lifted him by his neck throwing him to the ground away from the omega who stared shocked. "and leave the omega alone." He said. The weasel got up scurrying away and shade turned around looking at the owl.

    She was shaking she had a great small scratches and wounds but overall was alright besides phycological damage. He picked her up gently. "I won't hurt you." He said as she tensed. She slowly relaxed as they walked through the woods. Soon he was back to the lodge walking in with her in his arms. He sat her on a chair grabbing a first aid kit. "Are you alright owling?" He asked tending to some wounds. She nodded "y-yeah...a-are you t-this territories a-alpha?" She asked. He nodded. "d-did the si-sign mean...any omegas on your land are your omegas?" She asked timidly.

    Shade chuckled "no not at all but if you want to be I won't stop ya." He jokingly shrugged. She just looked at him blushing a bit. He finished up putting bandaids on some scratches and got up. "you can stay the night. I don't want him coming back to hurt you." He said softly. She nodded looking toward the bed in the lodge. It looked so comfortable she couldn't help but fall into it. Shade started up a fire in the fire place as it got cold then retreated to the comfortable bed as well. Though he paused before getting in "are you ok with sharing a bed?" He asked. She nodded almost eagerly. He got into bed laying next to her. The bed was nice and warm and before long he was asleep. She was still awake her body in preheat and needy.

   She pondered his joking offer. She knew it was a joke but it was clear he didn't claim the other omegas as his so she wondered if he even had one. She smelled around a bit but only smelled alpha. If he had no omega then maybe she could be his omega. The thought made her cheeks turn a shade of pink much like a cherry blossom. She returned to the bed looking over at shade. She was unsure of how he'd react but she cuddled into his chest. He moved slightly and she paused thinking he'd wake up but he simply put an arm around her holding her closer. She blushed but happily snuggled in.

      Soon she fell asleep. The next morning shade woke up to the smell of pure heat right under this nose. She was going into a full heat and he didn't even notice beforehand. He got up blushing heavily and getting slightly away trying to control his thoughts and urges. He began cooking trying to keep his mind busy. He ate many smaller breakfasts trying to keep his mind from going back to the small perfect omega right on his bed. Soon she awoke. The smell of cooking ham and eggs wafted. She got up walking to the kitchen her stomach cramping from the heat she was experiencing. Her fledgling esk wings timidly against her back.

"Good morning!" Shade said smiling trying to keep himself together. She nodded "g-good morning" she stuttered out. She sat at the table. He put down a bowl with scrambled eggs, ham, bacon, cheese, and brown gravy over the top. He smiled. Cooking was keeping him busy. It was working quite well at it.

   She loved the food which made shade happy. She seemed to ignore most her signs of heat and keep it out of the spot light.  He admired how she kept from throwing herself all over him. He wasn't very omega friendly sometimes he had to protect an omega but he stayed alone himself. Rejecting omegas. But she was so much different. He work up wanting to mark her. He'd smelled many omegas in heat but never wanted one back. She was just perfect to him. 

    She sat down on the couch and they watched some TV. He learned a bit more about her as they had conversations and it only increased his fixation. She was a goddess. A pure being that to him was perfect. Her smell concreted in his want to 'keep' her. Soon she asked if she could go and take a walk and he said alright but to stay close since the weasel was still probably around. He began building a nest while she was gone. It was instinct. Impress the omega.

    It had thick blankets on the outline and soft ones lining the inside where they'd lay. He hoped she'd like it. Hoped she'd let him Into the nest. She came back and found it before she found him. It smelled like him. She curled up in it immediately. He walked out of another room soon and as soon as he did she scurried over grabbing his hand and leading him to the nest and onto it. She then snuggled into his chest. They both knew what it meant. It was an invitation.
