More omega verse uwu, soul bond shit kinda?

Snow owls were top of the top. The royals if hybrids. The purest form of hybrid. Very rarely mingling with other kingdoms or forms of hybrids due to their superiority. But occasionally royal guard were brought in.

Recent attacks on the snow owl Palace had sprung the king and queen into action requesting the best trained soldiers available. Shade was a younger knight. His father being a knight expected nothing less of him. He was sent something about "sparking passion" by being around high class knights. He hated it. The other knights from the first day could tell he was lesser then them. The first few days none of the knights even seen a snow owl some wanted to leave thinking it was all a haux but eventually they came out. There were nights to every major room, guards to be in the halls, every entrance stays closed with multiple guards by them. Usually such strict prodacol wasn't engaged in the peaceful kingdom but things had changed.

Shad began by the main entrance but soon a young snow owl came to move him elsewhere. He was told to guard the prince's door. Eventually someone passed him but by then he'd gotten so bored he zoned out. He looked over and flinched as there was a lady around his age standing there. "Christ. You uh...scared me...oh." he very quickly realized he was speaking with a snow owl. Her wings flaked with gorgeous white feathers. They looked fluffier then the others. Like they'd be softer. "S-sorry." He said. He wasn't supposed to speak to royals unless spoken to so he already fucked up. She chuckled. "it's alright. Jsut don't be so preoccupied when my parents are around. They'd probably kill you." She joked going to walk into the room. He gave her a confused look. "What?" She asked softly smiling. "uh...that's the prince's room I was told." He said.

She frowned looking away. "P-princess...t-they jsut don't acknowledge it." She said quietly. He frowned. "That's stupid." He said. She looked at him kinda surprised but smiled. "Yeah it is. Just don't let them catch you saying that." She joked again before going in. He watched her walk in and the door close. His chest felt warm and his heart was racing. He ignored it. Anxiety obviously. After a while a servant brought him food. It was a good meal and then he was informed he didn't get a new sleeping quarters. All guards sleep at their post. He was annoyed but who's gonna fight royalty. He'd rather stay alive tonight.

He layed against the wall trying to get comfortable. "Couldn't just have a night shift." He mumbled annoyed he eventually played on the floor along the wall by her door. He fell asleep and early that morning was awoken again to the door opening. He shot up ready to attack but stopped himself. "I-im so sorry!" He said the princess had came out and flinched afraid he would attack her. "I thought you were...not you a-and i-i was slee-" "it's alright. J-just try not to make a habit of it." She laughed softly. And jsut like before that warm feeling came back. "Yeah i-i won't. I-im shade by the way...if I'm gonna guard ya I guess it's good you know my name." She nodded. "My name is Nora. It's nice to meet you shade." She said he got up nodding. "Do you need an escort? Or uh..I guess one might be coming...I don't really know...royal prodocals. if there are any..." She chuckled. "that would be nice. And there are lots of protocols with royalty. Annoying ones." She said sighing. He frowned kinda understanding that.

She walked to the garden shade at her heel. "The gardens my favorite part of the castle." She said softly. He nodded. "so natural. Much better." He nodded. She smiled softly nodding. Shade felt giddy. He wanted to do something for her. Make her happy. Impress her even but he didn't know why. There was this soft sweet scent everywhere around them it was nice.

The trees had bunches of flowers and one branch hung lower then most. She tried to reach for a flower but barely couldn't reach. He walked over grabbing the branch to bring it down slightly so she could grab a flower. She smiled. "t-thank you." She said. He blushed heavily. "There's R-really no need your majesty." He said softly. She chuckled. "You don't have to be so formal." She said. "Just when other owls are around." She noted. He nodded. Soon she had things to do and he had to return to his post. He came back and realized there was a very very strong scent by the room. It seemed to seep through the door. It was so sweet. It was inviting to. The same smell that followed them but so much stronger and it made shade want to follow the scent.
