I could feel myself slowly slipping. Everything around me dimmed and slowed. Everyone stepped away in my time of need. They claimed they wanted to help me, to fix me, but I knew they just wanted my power. With my power I could end the war giving the win to the spirits, I could also give the win to the demons.
I didn't want to choose, I wanted both races to live amongst each other, accepting each other. I knew that it would be impossible for my dream to come true. I just wanted peace, I wanted a family. Slowly everything was crumbling. At least that's what the voice said.
"Stella, are you feeling better today?" Juniper asked smiling. I look at her coldly.
"Do you think I could possibly feel better when I stuck behind bars? I need to be out there protecting everyone I care about. I need to leave Juniper." I mumble. She sighs.
"I know you feel that way, but you're a threat to everyone, you keep having this fights with yourself claiming someone is in you head. Do you know how insane that sounds?" Juniper hisses.
"You have no right to say that to your big sisters face." I growl.
"You're no big sister to me." She spits. She turns and leaves me pondering her words.
I crawl to the corner of the cell, curling up I begin to rock. The voice was right. Everything was falling apart. Tears start to flow like a waterfall, as I'm about to give up hope, a familiar voice makes me look up.
"Stella." He breaths out.
"You're here? How?" I choke out.
"I don't know, we need to get you out though." He whispers.
"You're going to get yourself killed Raven!" I whimper loudly.
"I'm willing to risk it, if it means I can save you." She smiles reassuringly.
"But what's the point of living if you're not there?" I start to cry.
"I'll always be there Stella. Just search in you're heart and I'll be waiting." He states, his own tears well up.
He unlocks the cell and pulls it open. Naturally I throw myself in his arms. His arms tighten around me and I smile.
"I love you so much." I say lovingly.
"I love-" He starts to say before he coughs up blood on my clothes.
"Raven!" I scream. A laugh echoes around the room.
"Oops, I guess I accidently killed him." Said a girl behind him.
Her black hair is messy and her eyes are black as coal.
"Who are you?" I yell at her. She smirks.
"I'm the voice." She laughs loudly.
Suddenly Raven's dead body turns to ashes in a pile in front of me.
