I look up at the dark sky, finally I found a peaceful place. I sit down and sigh. I need to find Stella. The shadows were gone and so was the girl. It was lonely here, I felt weird without Stella.

"Raven?" I heard Timber ask. I look at her and smile weakly.

"Yeah Timber?" I respond.

"You're hurt, I can help you if you want." She smiles. I look down at my chest.

"Yeah, thanks." I whisper. She walks up to me and kneels.

"Um, I need to take you're shirt off." She stumbles. I shrug.

I pull my shirt off and her face reddens. She shakes her head and tends to my wound. As she works I feel myself daydream. I see Stella, she smiles at me widely and reaches for me, but before her hand could reach me she turns into a fog. Behind the fog the mysterious girl grins at me.

Her words replay in my mind. I feel Timber's fingers brush my stomach, she kept her hand laying there and she looked at me. Her yellow eyes stare at me, she slightly leans in and I push her away harshly.

"What the hell?" I yell at her. She frowns.

"But you looked so peaceful, Stella doesn't deserve you." She growls.

My eyes widen as her red hair turns black. Razor sharp teeth appear in her mouth and she smiles.

"She thinks you're dead now, I broke her." She laughs hysterically.

"What are you talking about?" I choke out.

"I made a shadow look like you to break her out of the prison she wa held captive in, as soon as she was in the shadows arms I stabbed it, it transformed into a pile of ashes at her feet." She giggles.

"You're a monster!" I scream at the girl.

"No, I'm Malevolence." She frowns. I stand up and back up slowly.

"Get back." I hiss, I feel around for my sword, but it isn't there.

"There is no escape." She whispers. I see my sword laying beside her.

I try to lunge for it, but she hits me causing me fall back. As she gets closer to me I close my eyes in defeat. Suddenly a blood piercing shriek fills the air. I open my eyes and the girls fades into nothing. Behind her a girl stands with her back turned holding her sword in the air.

The girls hair shimmers white and her armor a deep red. She turns and faces me. My heartbeat races uncontrollably. Stella was standing before me. I stand up and her eyes lock with mine.

"How are you?" She whimpers.

"Alive?" I finish her sentence. She nods vigorously.

"I saw you die, then disintegrate into a pile of ashes." She whispers with confusion.

"Malevolence used a shadow formed to look like me to break you." I tell her. She looks at me with a uncertain expression.

"You can't really be Raven." She growls, stepping back she raises her sword.

"Stella stop!" I yell at her, she bares her teeth.

"Imposter." She breaths out.

"Please Stella, I love you, it's really me." I say reassuringly. She lowers her sword.

"It really is you!" She exclaims, I smile and nod.

She runs at me and throws her arms around my neck. I wrap my arms around her petite body taking in her scent. She was my hope. Little did I know that it will soon be shattered again.
