DANI'S POV - July of 1990
Izzy and I got a cozy apartment for now, we wanted to take things a little slow before settling. I had to sort of remind myself that we weren't married yet, no future with kids, not yet. The apartment is nice though, a decent side of LA and somewhat close to the studio. I found me a good job, working as a secretary for a pediatric practice. My goal is to make enough for a tuition at a community college. I know I could ask Izzy for help but I just want to see if I can make enough to start out, at least. If things don't work for Izzy and I, I want to make a reassurance that I can continue my education, you know?
Moving on to other news, Guns n Roses isn't exactly a band at the moment. Steven's addiction isn't getting better, no matter how much I try to help him. Axl's hothead doesn't seem to sympathize and he wants Steven out. Izzy's against it, and seems to be the only one who will verbally argue against it.
"Hey Dani, I have a question."
Megan came rushing to sit on the couch, a scrapbook of some sort in hand. "What's up?"
She closes the book, pushes it aside and faces her whole body towards me. She rolls her shoulders, and bits the inside of her cheek. Obviously a bit indecisive if she wants to talk or not. "I just wanna girl talk, this is completely hypothetical."
Oh lord
"Yes, Meggie?"
She smiles sweetly, "So you and Izzy get married, you guys move into a nice house wherever. Do you guys want kids?"
I made the mistake of taking a sip of tea as she asked. I completely choked, coughing a whole bunch as I was trying to come up with an answer. "See 'cause you're super good with kids. I've never seen him with kids but oh my gosh, it'd be so cute!"
I got up, throwing a pillow at her face. "Hypothetical, Meg?"
She shrugged and smiled proudly, reaching over for the TV remote. "Always something to hypothetically think about."

Megan left later that afternoon, leaving me with my baby pictures and small memories. Izzy showed up around 5, right in time for a invisible dinner meal.
"Hey, how was studio time?"
He huffed, kicking his shoes off and rushing to put his guitar up. "That good, huh?"
He was gone for a few minutes, then found himself a bag of chips and a seat on the sofa. "Axl is an ass," He sighed. I turned the TV down, pushing away my stuff. "What happened?"
He shrugged, "He's just being controlling, but he's never there! If he is, he's late. I play one wrong note, all hell breaks loose."
I hadn't seen him so angry over this stuff before. Sure, he got frustrated but most times he would be fine after a minute or so. Sometimes he would rant, but that was rarely ever.
He fidgeted with a ripped piece of his jeans, trying to catch a breath. "Izzy, maybe you guys need a big, hiatus break."
He sighed, and rubbed his face tiredly. "I know I need one. This junk is getting ridiculous."
We watched TV for a while, it's noise filling in the silence of the apartment. Izzy soon glanced over to the things in my lap, and scooted over closer to see it all. "You were a cute kid," he commented, picking a couple of them up and giggling as he looked at more. I looked over at him, with a question in mind. It wouldn't hurt to ask, but what if I didn't get a good answer? I know I've always wanted kids, it's always been an exciting thing to think about. Just the idea of that type of future with Izzy made me glow with happiness.
"What's up?" He asked, seeing as something was on my mind. I giggled faintly and shook my head, "Just something Meg brought up."
"Which is?" He pressed on. My ears burned with embarrassment, my stomach turned with anxiety. I hesitated, sighing and just looking up at the ceiling for a minute. "Do you...want kids?"
His eyes widened and then he looked down at my stomach. "No, no I'm not pregnant!" I laughed. He let out a deep breath, his shoulders relaxing a bit. He thought about it for a while, "Well that depends."
I tilted my head, "On what?"
"Do you?"
Damn you Isbell, you couldn't get anymore charming.
IZZY'S POV
As soon as Danielle brought up kids, I thought she was onto me. Before studio drama occurred, I had dragged Lauren and Charlie to the mall with me. I had called Beau, to see if Danielle ever had any ring preferences. He only had two preferences up in mind, which was dainty and no huge diamonds.
"Wait, Izzy. What about this one?" Lauren grinned, pointing down to a unique ring. It had a grey-ish diamond, from how it reflected the light. Several smaller diamonds lined next to the bigger one.
Charlie slid in right next to Lauren, looking at the ring and instantly gasping. She looked over at me, giving me an anticipating, excited smile.
"Alright, then."

I hadn't planned on how I was gonna propose, but I knew I wanted to ask her sometime tonight.
When she decided that she was gonna go lay down, I waited until she left the living room for me to pull it out of my pocket. A familiar giddy, impulsive feeling came about. One feeling I had felt when I had saw her in that cafe when we ran into each other.
When I got in the bedroom, she was laying on her stomach reading a book oblivious to my anxiousness.
I fiddled with the ring case in my hand, kneeled down and leaned against the bed. She took her glasses off, and gave me a goofy smile. "What are you doing? Praying?"
I shook my head, laughing nervously. I looked down at my feet, and so did Dani. When I took out the ring, she realized what I was doing and gasped. She sat up and covered her mouth, trying to not cry.
"Will you marry me?"
"Hell yes!"
