2kim (Minju x Chaewon IZ*ONE)

I walk into Chaewon's bedroom, she's lying on her side but turns to face me as I quietly come in. ''Can I sleep here with you tonight?'' I'm whispering because it's around 3AM and everyone else is fast asleep. I don't want to wake anyone up. Yena usually sleeps in this room too but tonight she went to the other dorm. They're having a league of legends ''party''. Pretty lame if you ask me. 

She doesn't say anything but gently pats the side of her bed, gesturing for me to lie down next to her. I tiptoe over but I'm feeling a little bold and decide to lie on top of her. ''I'm in the mood for cuddles'' I softly whisper, as I snuggle into her neck. Chaewon doesn't retaliate or push me away. Instead, she gently kisses my head and plays with my hair. 

I start thinking of all the memories we've shared in these past 3 years. From produce 48 to debut to the scandal to now. Every moment we've spent together, flashes in my head every time I close my eyes. Every little laugh, cry or argument I shared with Chaewon is something I treasure. I sit up and decide to break the comforting silence. She looks up at me, confused.

''You know, I don't mind when you lie down on me but you sitting on me is just a little bit uncomfortable. Especially in the dark since I can barely see you.'' 

"Do you remember when we first met?" I interrup, looking into her deep brown eyes.

"Of course I do, during produce. How could I forget?" Chaewon whispers back, as she reaches her hand up to my face and gently cups my cheek in her hand. The mood has become a little heavier.

"You were wearing a stripey rainbow top and shorts. When you walked in, everyone fell for you. Especially me." She caresses my cheek with her fingers, gently making circles.

I lean in closer. Our faces are practically touching. I can feel the heat coming off of her face.

"You always mention that shirt...was it really that bad?" I'm starting to overthink the shirt but she just smirks up at me. This time, she pulls my face closer, our noses touching. I want her to go in for the kiss but just when I think she's going to.

She stops and lets out a soft laugh. ''I wasn't really focused on the shirt, I was sort of looking at who was in it though.'' I'm blushing now. She's so suave, I kind of hate it. She makes me so flustered so easily. Every time I'm this close to her, I can feel my face going red.

''I can never get used to this feeling unnie...'' I whisper, this time not because I'm trying to be quiet but because I'm so nervous that I've lost all power in my voice. 

''What feeling?'' She asks, but she already knows what I mean.

''This feeling?'' She teases as she slowly wraps her arms around my neck, pulling me back into her. I gulp in anticipation, my cheeks are flushed and I know for sure my ears are red because of the burning sensation I feel in them. 

''Or...this feeling?'' She kisses my ear, gently nibbling on them. 

''What about this feeling?'' She softly kisses my neck.

''Unnie, s-stop. You're just teasing me'' I mutter under my breath. She stops, and buries her face into my neck, I can feel her smirking. 

''Kim Minju, you're really so cute. I can't handle it anymore.'' She's mumbling into my neck now. After she's done silently giggling, she looks at me in the eyes. ''Minju, what do you want from me? Right now in this moment, I'll do anything you ask.'' Her arms still wrapped around my neck and a massive smile still plastered on her devilishy cute face.

She's patiently waiting for my answer but I don't say anything. Instead I close the short distance between us and go for the kiss I've patiently been waiting for. I've kissed people before but it never felt like this. With Chaewon, kisses are soft and sweet. They're warm and genuine. As soon as our lips touch, hers curls up into a smile. We don't kiss for the sake of it, but because it means something to both of us. 

Chaewon moves her hands to my back. ''Kim Minju...'' she breathes. ''I didn't know you could be so bold'' she mutters inbetween kisses. 

''I can be very surprising.'' I pull away for a little, wanting to leave her asking for more but...

''ACK! Unnie what are you doing?!'' She puts her freezing cold hands under my shirt and laughs loudly at my reaction. 

''I'm warming my hands. Minju, did you really think I'd let you do whatever you wanted?'' she's still laughing at me but pulls me into a hug when she sees how unimpressed I am. 

''Chaewon-ssi...I was trying to be suave'' I whine after burying my face into her neck again.

''I know, I loved it.'' She starts playing with my hair again before we both drift asleep.
