Wonha (Sowon x Eunha, GFriend)

Note: Yeet I'm back after a year lol

Sowon and Eunha have known each other for years. Although they didn't grow up together, they feel as if they've known each other forever. The pair know everything about each other, each other's quirks, pet peeves, likes and dislikes, talents, specialties etc etc. They're best friends and they care about each other deeply.

One day, out of sheer curiosity, Sowon asked Eunha "Eunha, what do you think of me?" Eunha stopped what she was doing and thought carefully "Well unnie, I think you're amazing, inspiring and talented, why?". Sowon looked disappointed "Is that all you think of me?". Sowon stood up and walked out of the kitchen to her bedroom, leaving Eunha alone.

Eunha thought it wasn't a big deal, she was thinking that perhaps Sowon was just in bad mood. Eunha knew that whenever Sowon was feeling angry, it was best to leave her alone but it was different this time, Sowon was completely silent and wouldn't talk to anyone, she wasn't even playing with her dog. Eunha realised she probably messed up.

"Crap, I must've said something stupid!" Eunha thought to herself, she caught herself staring at Sowon's sullen face. Sowon was just sitting watching T.V, showing absolutely no interest in whatever was playing. Eunha being the adorable human being she is, plopped herself next to Sowon. "Sowon unnie~" Eunha snuggled up to Sowon and lay her head on Sowon's shoulder.
"Unnie~~" Eunha intertwined her arms with Sowon's and held her hand
"Eunha, what do you want?" Sowon showed zero interest in Eunha
"Are you mad at me?" Eunha asked sheepishly
"What? No! Oh my god, how could I ever be mad at you?" Sowon laughed at the idiocy of Eunha's question
"Then why have you been upset all day? You wouldn't even look at me!" Eunha's cheeks began to redden with worry and anger
"Woah are you getting mad at me?" Sowon asked, in shock
"Yes! I am getting angry at you! You haven't talked to me all day and now you're acting as if nothing happened!! Is it because of what I said this morning?" Eunha let go of Sowon and stood up, hands on her hips.
Despite all of Eunha's frustration, Sowon just stared at Eunha's round, reddened face and laughed. Eunha couldn't handle how Sowon was reacting and tried to walk away but Sowon grabbed her arm "Eunha, I'm sorry for laughing at you. You're just too cute. Walk with me and I'll explain everything, please."  Eunha was shocked that Sowon still had the audacity to admire how adorable she is.

The pair went for a walk in a nearby park. For the first 10 minutes, it was silent, Sowon didn't know how to explain herself.
"Hey Sowon unnie, you better start talking or I'm gonna turn right around and leave!" Eunha said, still very annoyed
"Right sorry, well I really don't know what to say to you but I'll try to explain it as best as I can" Sowon said, Sowon was lying. She knew exactly how she felt, why she acted the way she did and how to explain it, the truth is Sowon was just scared.
"Eunha, this morning" Eunha stared at Sowon thoughtfully, Sowon suddenly stopped walking and held Eunha's hands in her own.
"When you said what you thought of me, I was disappointed. It sounded as if I was just any other friend to you... I thought I was more than that to you so I got upset"
"Unnie you know you mean the absolute world to me so ju-"
"Let me explain the rest, please." Sowon became visibly worried, she let go of Eunha's hands
"Eunha I'm in love with you" Eunha's eyes widened, she didn't know how to react or what to say.
"Look Eunha before you say anything I know it's weird and I shouldn't be having these types of feelings for my best friend but... I can't help it." Sowon looked away from her "just promise you won't hate me for feeling the way I do."
"I could never hate you unnie but I don't know if I feel the same way. I'm not sure I can give you the relationship you're looking for. I'm sorry but I still love you, just not in the way you want"
"That's okay, it's better than nothing. Thank you" Sowon said, smiling at Eunha
"It's okay for you to feel like this, just promise me you'll still be my friend and you will never ever ignore me for a whole day again, promise?" Eunha held her pinky finger out, she was grinning at Sowon. Sowon pinky promised Eunha she would never ignore her again.

Sowon was disappointed but she knew Eunha still cared about her. Sowon would just have to wait for Eunha or move on.

WOAHHHH I'm back and woohoo wonha this will prob have more than 1 part and it's different really different.
This was inspired by the anime/manga "Bloom into you" or "Yagate Kimi Ni Naru"
