It's me and Dahyun's first date... ever. Despite us having mutual feelings for each other for a while, pretty much since debut or even since pre-debut, we've never been able to tell each other because we weren't allowed to date (until now at least) and well since we're in the same group it kind of scared us and being gay probably wouldn't be received well either, because of these reasons (especially the last one) we've decided to keep our relationship a secret from everyone. So now, I'm even more nervous.
As I finish getting ready for our date, Jihyo comes in ''Where are you going?'' she asked
''Me and Dahyun are going out.'' it somehow felt like I was lying to her
''Okay, buy some groceries while you're out, okay?'' Jihyo asked, walking out of my room
''Yeah sure'' I reply, getting more nervous, I felt even worse.
I walk out and wait for Dahyun in the living room, I feel hands on my shoulders
''Are you ready?'' Dahyun asks, wrapping her arms around me
''Yeah, are you?'' I say getting up
''Yes! Let's go!'' Dahyun says excitedly, punching the air, smiling from ear to ear, she looks at me and notices how nervous I look, she frowns slightly, takes my hand and practically drags me out of the dorm, I walk reluctantly.
When we get out of the building, Dahyun grabs my hand and looks at me right in my eyes. This makes me flustered and my cheeks become red, I look away. Dahyun puts her hand on my cheek and moves my face so she can look at me again. This time Dahyun also looks sheepish, cheeks also red.
''Sana-unnie, don't be nervous,'' Dahyun says, taking her hand off of my cheek and taking my other hand.
I smile and reassure her ''Of course, I'll keep calm for you, now let's go and have some fun!''
We lock arms and walk down the street.
We enter a restaurant, the owner says hi as he usually does and gives us our usual. We've been coming to this restaurant since we were trainees so he treats us normally.
''Dahyun, Sana did you come alone or do I need to get more food?'' The restaurant owner chuckles
''It's just us today, luckily for you'' I laugh
''Well enjoy your food girls'' he says going back to the kitchen
We start eating and chat a little, we crack some jokes and laugh and leave after we pay. We go for a walk and we go into the supermarket
''Why are we here?'' Dahyun asks
''Jihyo wanted us to buy some stuff'' I say getting a trolley
''Okay then, let's go''Dahyun says hopping into the trolley.
''What even?'' I say
''Push'' she commands me
''But I-''
''Push''
I push and we walk into the store,there aren't many people so no one really pays attention to us. While I walk past all the aisles, Dahyun just scoops whatever she can and whatever she wants into the trolley with her, grabbing tissues, bread, chocolate and many other food items.
''You push slow'' she says
''Oh really?'' I say, beginning to pick up the pace and push faster, I run up and down the aisles, pushing Dahyun, her wide ass smile appears and I don't feel worried anymore, I feel relieved and happy because of her wide ass smile and adorable laugh. I eventually get tired and stop pushing, Dahyun climbs out of the trolley carefully and back hugs me, patting me on the head
''Well done honey'' she says to me. I laugh and ruffle her hair. We pay and walk home, 1 bag in my hand and 1 in hers, we hold hands with our two free ones, intertwining our fingers together. Dahyun makes circles on my knuckles with her thumb, while we walk, we chat and swing our arms.
Once we get to the apartment building, I notice how happy Dahyun is, her wide smile, still as wide as ever, her eyes gleaming, I could tell how happy she was. I look down at our hands, her thumb still making circles on my hand. I let go of her hand, she looks at me, her smile faded and she does her little-confused face. I wrap my arm around her neck and, put my face real close to hers ''Dahyun-ah I love you'', I say confidently, I take her hand and pull her into the ellevator.
Dahyun's face is still red after my sudden usage of the ''L-word'', I'm still holding her hand and her squishy cheeks are still red. Even I'm starting to feel flustered,
''Sana...'' Dahyun looks at me. ''Are you sure you l-love me?'' I become even more flustered at the question, but because I'm super confident and hella suave, I press all the buttons on the elevator, drop the groceries, take Dahyun's face into my hands and look her right in the eyes.
''S-S-Sana w-w-wha-'' Dahyun starts
''Shush'' I say placing a finger on her lip. I wrap my arms around her waist and press my lips on hers. The kiss is long and passionate, it was really warm and hot, I've kissed before but never like this, this was something indescribable, something I couldn't even imagine. I eventually pull away when the elevator stops at our floor but Dahyun presses all the buttons again and pushes me against the wall, wraps her arms around my neck.
''One more time.'' She asks
I fely like there was nothing to worry about anymore.
