Christmas was approaching, and Maya was determined to make it magical for the twins—even with Rustle's arm in a cast. She cherished these moments, knowing one day they'd stop believing in Santa.
The station was decked out, and the twins were thrilled when Travis, dressed as Santa, appeared in the beanery. Rustle quickly caught on to the disguise, but Maya saved the magic with a clever explanation: "Uncle Travis works with Santa."
Their laughter was cut short by alarms—Maya and Travis were needed for a four-alarm call. As they rushed to gear up, Carina arrived. Maya quickly entrusted the boys to her care, planting kisses on their foreheads before running off.
Carina comforted the crying twins, holding them close. When Dean offered help, she declined—it was her day off, and she was happy to stay. To lift their spirits, she suggested making Christmas cards for Maya. The boys eagerly agreed, and soon they were laughing and drawing in the beanery, creating adorable cards with help from Carina and Dean.
Later, Maya returned, exhausted but smiling when she heard her sons' laughter. The boys ran to her with their cards in hand, proud of their work. Touched, Maya got teary-eyed.
While the boys shared their crafts with the team, Maya pulled Carina aside to thank her. Carina brushed it off warmly, then surprised Maya with a question: "Would you like to go out for dinner sometime?"
Caught off guard but smiling, Maya replied, "You want to go on a date with me?"
"Sì," Carina said softly. "Somehow, I keep ending up back here—with you. That means something."
Maya nodded, heart racing. "I feel the same."
As Carina left, she added, "You have my number—message me."
Maya watched her go, stunned. Did she really have a date with Carina?
