Deku POV: After Bakugo issued his challenge I spent the rest of the day excited for my chance to finally put this annoying clump of anger in his place. While I was walking to lunch, Ochaco and Mina come up to me.
"What's up?" I asked, curious what the two girls wanted to talk to me about. A questing Mina asks me straight up "you're planning to fight Bakugo?" This definitely caught me off guard as I didn't think anyone else knew about our planned fight as Bakugo whispered it to me. I quickly gathered my composure and responded with a simple "yeah, how did you know?" Mina and Ochacos eyes lit up as their gossip was confirmed. Ochaco responded in an even more bubbly tone than usual "Jiro told us she overheard Bakugo challenge you, but to be honest, we didn't believe you would accept." I raised an eyebrow before responding in a questioning tone "You think I'm scared of him? Do you think he's stronger than me?" Both of them shook their head rapidly before mina quickly spit out "no no no! We know you super strong and all, you just don't seem like the type to accept a fight from someone weaker than you!"
I snickered at this before saying "yeah I guess that's true, normally I wouldn't accept a school fight, but let's just say I've had a vendetta against this guy for a while now... " both the girls seem surprised by this but wisely see that they shouldn't prode further into the situation. Mina gives me a quick thumbs-up before saying "make sure you kick his ass, ill bring an audience" and walking away. I was a little confused about that last part but decided to ignore it for now and get my lunch.
When the day ends, I walk towards the back of the school where Bakugo told me to get ready to fight, and to my surprise, I don't just see Bakugo but all of Class 1A and 1B and some students from other classes. I immediately look at mina suspecting she planned this, based on what she said earlier, she looks back at me and winks. "Welp, I guess it will increase his humiliation," I think to myself while walking towards Bakugo, who is staring at me with intense bloodlust. I stare right back at him and get ready to kick his ass.
